That should not be the reason to start working out. Do not be ashamed or embarrassed. Do it for your health, feeling strong and happy. Workout for yourself. Good luck! 👍🏻
Thank you both, I am 62 years old and I was able to do some of these. The lunges were the most difficult for me. Looking forward to learning what my body can do. Thank you both again for sharing this.
I am 60 and have disk degenerative disease. I have faith that with all that I am doing I will be stronger 💪🏾. I need to focus on core, hips and glutes. My whole girdle cage needs strength to keep my spine stable. Hope and pray this will be helpful to me.
The best thing that I've done for myself is to avoid mirrors. I've gained an enormous amount awake and why do I want to torture myself and bring myself down. I accept myself for where I'm at but not. My heart's desire is to lose this weight and feel better.
You’ve continued to come up through this wild journey in loving myself. I’m now at a point where it’s time to take care of the vessel, my body and mind. Thank you for this! You’re so inspiring ❤ can’t wait for what’s to come!
Now this is WAT I’m saying… I can workout along with Massy and her client. I can not only see the results but I feel like I’m actually there for the session REAL TALK ❤ THANK YOU
Damn Massy! I have followed you for years but you never stoped amazing me! You are doing great... and I will for sure be doing this work out at least once a week!
Oh yes! Please let me know how you like it, and if you want all of Jordin's workout, the link to join the Elevate 1 program is in the description. You can follow along with her on her journey. :)
I don’t know how I just found this but this just motivated. I am someone with hip pain and I have been playing around with different experiences that ca help that area and it looks like this would be great for that while getting in shape and losing weight. Looking forward to getting started with this.
We are calling it a challenge but this is a whole program. You will be able to do it for a year if you wanted to. It’s 8 weeks of progressive overload using your body with very little equipment!
If you're just getting back into it, you can use a chair for support and decrease the depth, but keep the same movement dynamics of tucking the back hip under and pushing through the heel of the front foot to come up.
Wow! I did it! Wheww, man , hat was a "bliss!" I have no idea what that means..anyway I almost quit after circuit 2, I think, but hung in there. I was shaking. 🙄 I had to take breaks on the planks, but maybe the wood floor wasn't the "ideal" surface, so it made it extra challenging..😄🤪🏋🏾♀️Ty, ty, Ty! It felt real good to move the body in this challenged fashion instead of lifting weights! Bravo!! Now it's time to watch what "U eat in a day!👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾
This is my 2nd time joining you ladies and I feel so good! And sore from last time lol When I did the prone T to Y, my puppy came and put his hand on my back, checking on me🤣 I was like No- I am Not OK Mr. Chubbs🥵😂
Sure thing! I’ve also included it on this video. The Elevate program works on strength, endurance, core stability, proprioception, mobility. All of my programs do.
When I was your VIDEO today i was happy to see you both having this workout. It was channeling for me because I have some health problems. l can do what I can do but I really enjoy it was very helpful and relaxing as well. I really appreciate the style of this workout was relax the the way you explain how to do this workout.
This is just day 1 of the #maelevate program. This program is 3 days a week of different circuit workouts just like this one and 3 days of yoga. It progresses you workout by workout. You should come and join! Link in bio

I can’t do lunges on my right knee it pops, cracks and hurts, when I climb stairs it makes a squeaky noise it’s doesn’t hurt unless I try to lunge in that right knee. My left knee is fine so….I was with a personal trainer at planet fitness but my knee started hurting after lunging on this knee and I need to stop doing any kind of workouts for a few months to get it back where I can do any kind of machine leg workout so I avoid lunges with my own body weight. If I do seated leg curls and leg extensions on a machine my knee is fine
Hello I just finished this workout it was great I can definitely feel it 😮my issue was with lunges I have bilateral heel spurs and man 😢it hurt I tried the chair but the pain did not ease at all is there any modifications for lunges?
Day 2 would be on the program. This is part of a program we are starting in May 1st. Read the description for the workout. Also, we posted day 3 on Tuesday check it out. Come join us
I couldn't start when I initially paid cuz I was sitting there with COVID19..That was on last Monday. Oh shoot, I did some exercises to some other video yesterday & Mon...How can I start this one...Thursday. I'll start mine Thursday...🙌🏾😇 Can't wait!🏃🏾♀️🏋🏾♀️🙏🏾
Just came across this video. Where do I find the rest of this series? Or do I repeat this video for 3 months? I’m 55 and would need to lose 25lbs to be at my ideal weight.
I want to do this program, I have been working with some of your programs, but certain arm exercises like pushups, downward dog and planks create problems for me in the right arm. Any suggestions?
When there’s an imbalance we must find the source of that in lance. Unilateral movements are important to perform. If you’re a a member on MAs Vida look for the intervention program done by coach Matt. The suggestion would be for you to have a pt look at where the imbalance is coming from.
@@Mankofit ok, I will check it out. But the imbalance come from the removal of 23 lymph nodes from my armpit due to Breast Cancer. I have been seeing a pt for it , but only exercise really helps me. Not really seeing the point of the specialist.
Unless I’m running or lifting (athletic work) I’m often barefoot since I want to ground myself. I have better proprioception and usage of my body that way. My philosophy of movement and nutrition dates back to hunter gatherer days. Does this make sense?
Guess what? Album drops in a couple of months. Jordin has been working so hard. And the music is so good!!!!!!!!!! I can’t wait. So we are getting after it!
I really wish trainer's would have challenges for truly overweight people with arthritis, herniated disc etc. Who can do a plank when you're truly overweight with aches and pains. Try to help people who really need it. Ya know?
Hey love, scroll down to the series with Tasha. 268lbs . The videos that were made will truly help you with overall nutrition. Head over to instagram @mawarriors and see so many success stories. I will make note of this and look for the perfect candidate who is in California and start another series. Thank you for your input
We believe in what we do and that these programs truly build a strong foundation of movement and a great relationship with food. The thousands of warriors who have seen transformation can attest! :) If it's not you're style, we wish you the best on your journey!
