Hey Peeps! I am really loving how the Anaconda Anthesis Collection is coming together and I'm really looking forward to working on the blue fabrics but they are mostly cooler weather appropriate so I'm switching things up!! I can not wait to get the rose dress and shirt sewn, I think they are going to be beautiful and the green set will be really versatile and go with so many things I already have! What are you looking forward to seeing made up and do you think I should out the jungle print dress to the top of the "To Make" list?!?!

That epic jungle print will look fantastic as a floaty maxi dress! Please make it your #1! :D I will never be sick and tired of you making beautiful dresses in patterns that you love. Every dress looks so different based on the fabric you choose. Please, make a million dresses that you love, rather then making a million dresses in new patterns that give instant regreds. ♥

I wish every time you made an 8577, the same dress would magically appear in my closet! I did buy the pattern ages ago, and just have not made the time to actually make it. This might just be the time to get it done. Thank you for the inspiration!

The wild animal print should definitely move to 2nd in the stack of priorities. The beautiful rose print should be your first priority. Those are absolutely beautiful fabrics!!

I really like that jungle print! I’d like to see that get made up first, but putting it second place after the roses would be fine, since you can probably crank out an 8577 pretty quickly at this point!

Love the green fabrics. Green is my favourite colour! I especially like the animal print one. My conservatory curtains are a similar print!

That jungle print looks perfect for the maxi dress! I'd make it priority number one 🙂 Although I love the roses print too! I did notice you repeat patterns over and over again: if that is what you like, just go for it. I only ever repeat a pattern if it's a T-shirt or a pair of well-fitting jeans; I just would get bored otherwise making the same thing over and over again. I have tons of patterns because of past subscriptions to two sewing magazines which is more common where I live than buying separate patterns which seem to be more common in other countries. My challenge for July is sewing a pair of linen trousers for my adult son: I've never made anything for a man. Fingers crossed it will turn out well. I'm looking forward to seeing your finished garments for July!

I was so much in the premiere chat that I had to rewatch your video today 😂 It was fun, but distracting, I can’t multitask 🤣 The M7945 is one of my favourites, can‘t wait to see it 😍 The panthers are adorable ♥️ I am thinking of sewing my next M7945 in savannah with a lining… but that would somehow beat the purpose 😂 But I want it so badly in this print

I know what you mean it's a combo that I keep coming back to but I know it will annoy me if I have to line it 🤣 Maybe the linen chambray mix could work, I made some trousers out that base and I didn't think it was see through at all!

💚🖤 1) Jungle print because it is beautiful and you need another floaty dress 2) Rose print, because gorgeous and there is nothing wrong with having 20 skirts that while basically (ok exactly) the same are in different prints and therefore fabulous.

Buh, missed the premier again due to work. But I’m all in favour of indulgent sewing! The watercolour roses are sooo pretty and absolutely deserve the large canvas of the 8577 skirt to shine. And with this indecisive summer, you might want to cut out the jungle print while you’re at it and set it aside. That way, if the forecast announces the next heatwave, you can quickly stitch it up and know that you’ll get to wear it. ❤
