In 2013, Pizzeria Beddia first started in the Fishtown neighbourhood of Philadelphia. Famously, it had no chairs, no phone, no by-the-slice means of ordering, no delivery and only two employees.
Joe Beddia would prepare enough dough each day for only 40 pizzas, where customers would be willing to spend the majority of their afternoons waiting to try one of his whole pies.
