Awesome, car, my father had, one in black, one day in college, 6 people lifted up the car and I forgot where they put, it, my father was so proud of the English car, he could not believe where they put it.
I think the meter is Kinzele. All in that one cluster. Petrol gauge. Amp meter. Oil pressure. Speedo. Ttacho. Could be a clock, too. These were cars! Not like he new sissies.....one dunking snd story over.
Your car looks just like mine, do you know the body colour?, I’m having difficulty finding out what it is, many say it’s smoke grey but it’s not, thanks.
Nice car, beautiful condition and what a fantastic starter from cold considering it stands outside, the choke looks very stiff !! , my girlfriend has a late 60’s moggy and it’s garaged every night and she takes 2 or 3 try’s to start on a morning and the choke is nice and free, easy to pull in and out , fantastic runner it’s just that initial start up from cold , don’t know how to solve that
Cheers! Sounds like a fuel delivery issue to me, have you checked an ignition coil as it might have lost some degree of resistance with time.. Does a fuel pump start ticking straight away after turning a key to the on position? If all of the listed above is fine then most likely could be a weak battery that drains quickly and takes a while for its power to reach the plugs and create a spark.
