If cars today had this kind of start up procedure, we'd definitely have less theft.

If we had this kind of stuff they would still know how to use it seeing as it would be the normal

Well. Back in those days? They had to take baby steps too. Then they got better as they grew, we’ve come a long way but we’re losing our driving skills. Cars/trucks are way too smart for us today. How? We can’t find a good repair shop to work on them now.

This is amazing considering this was the peak of luxury when you had to actually manually do the things that the computers do for you now

It's interesting... Most are commenting on how complex the start up on this brilliant old time Automobile. I can't help but realize how much more brain work is required to operate this beautiful masterpiece of antiquity. It may seem to be less intelligent, but I'm not so sure... Did the old world choose to live and engineer their lives this way because it's simply more genius to live closer to reality? Everything was designed in a way that integrated human interaction with the machine. Nowadays, it's all done by an artificial brain and no one's actually engaged in the actual function of the machine. The machine is doing more thinking than the "operator". Sure, life's a lot easier now, right? 🤔 I can see a revolution in Automobiles upon the horizon. A movement backwards! Back to when the Human being is a vital part of the machines function. That without the Human knowledge, skill and physical interaction , the machine can't think or move or do a damn thing that I don't want it to do, when I want it to do it! Please God! Can we go back to a REAL WORLD!

You want to go wash your clothes in a creek, too? Hunt your own food? Cook it over a fire? There have been many advances in modern technology that save us time and energy. Time and energy that we can then use to make more advances in technology. This cycle makes us rich in a developed nation. There's certainly no one stopping you if you want to go backwards, but there's too many reasons not to. Being able to comment on RU-vid is one of them. =D

@@sconescrewdriverson Hmmm? Not so sure you understand my comment. To say this "cycle makes us rich in a developed nation", isn't exactly so true. Look at the People... The People of our world today mostly haven't a freaking clue how to think and craft such genius pieces of "technology". So much less brain work happening now in this world as it was even in the 60's and 70's. People had to think and manually operate equipment, machinery and their automobiles. Nowadays, not so much, in fact, not so much at all! We just have to know which button to push to start and stop. Everything else is being assisted at least, if not completely dominated by a computer brain, which only ensures the exact same input, the exact same output. Completely predictable! Nothing like the old days. Sure, life's a lot simpler and easier now right? We are all so rich now? 🤔 Have a good day! The Skeptical One...

There's people out there saying they couldn't drive an EV because the charging infrastructure and battery care is too complex and then there's this guy. ;)
