There is actually a reason I made a diamond sword. A stone sword has 19 damage and 6 building damage. A gold sword has 22 damage and 7 building damage. For both of these, the damage is slightly more than 3 times the building damage. This means they kill the lava dragon slightly faster than they break the wall (remember, the lava dragon has 3 times the health of a wood wall). But for diamond swords and above, the damage is exactly 3 times the building damage. I can attack the lava dragon until I am 1 hit away from breaking the wall. Then I just need to hit it a few times with a pickaxe, and I am done.

It can't damage walls outside the cave. The quest says to kill the dragon inside the cave, but you actually just need to kill it in winter.

I actually alnost did 6 quests,WITH A FKING FULL SERVER OF TRASH ANIMALS&k did only 4 bcs savagers ;-;

Lapa changed the list of servers in May (for example, adding NA3 and NA4), and I've barely played at all since then. But I'll give my best advice based on the game back then; let me know if it's outdated. First, there's no such thing as a savage-free server. Fortunately, savages rarely attack random players. You should be more concerned once you have gear or points. Sometimes you see kids guarding the cave, but it's rare enough that you can just join another server. If you are just doing quests for fun, you won't have to worry about savages. You may need to change your name and skin so people don't recognize you. Second, let's talk about what gear you should have if you don't want to pvp. Dragon and lava gear are not particularly advantageous over a reidite sword. A lava sword or full dragon gear deals 33 damage, which kills wolves in the same 10 hits as a reidite sword, and kills bears in 28 hits compared to the 30 hits of a reidite sword. Winter peasant and golden pitchfork are only useful if you have a farm, but you're bound to get raided. Winter hood, life crown, and peace crown are all around not very useful. That leaves pilot, luck, and 2 bag quests. I recommend a baby dragon (cave or lava) with a pilot hat to escape savages more easily, as well as 2 bag quests. You can use a luck crown for taming, but it's not required. A lot of people try to make lava gear, but get savaged in the process, so I'll give my advice. First, get at least 60 string before going to winter, so you don't have to return to the forest. Second, get all 6 dragon hearts before going to lava (and all of the ice you need; remember to use 1 ice every 5 seconds). Finally, get the amethyst, reidite, and lava hearts without leaving lava/sea at all. These biomes have very few players, so you're not likely to get savaged. Once you have your lava gear, you may get savaged, but you've still done lava gear.

@@blobs2635 thank you,also I tried making mammoth strat,and then pilot,1 bag quest& lava gear,at the most unexpected place,desert,I found a guy that wanted score,so he decided to kill me... stupid

@@GoodFella422 Well, no anti-savage strategy works 100% of the time, but there are strategies that usually work. In most cases, you'll have the desert to yourself. Then, don't reveal your pilot hat until you have a dragon.

@@blobs2635 no dude he had a dragon I revealed my mammoth and decide ignoring him but he had blue drag I just go and took my pilot quest and on the way back to lava(water part*didnt have scuba*that dude had super scuba)I died în 1v1 him,no Wonder I died he was lava spear telling me gib him hat quests ;-;

Like I said, there’s no way to guarantee that you won’t get savaged. Sometimes, you get unlucky, and someone's in the desert, has a dragon, etc. The best you can do is find anti-savage strats that work in most cases. I’m sorry if that’s not satisfactory, but it’s a fact.

Tip: Move into the trap diagonally, to lure the dragon into the space between the walls. If you move along an axis, the dragon gets caught on just 1 of the walls, making it hard to trap. But you should practice on a cave dragon before you try to trap a kraken or lava dragon.

@@longleuc6544 If you don't lure the dragon inside properly, or you move away from the trap, it won't work. Otherwise I don't know what else to tell you; I don't usually have any issues.
