Hi sir wonder presentation Just had a doubt : You had mentioned that obesity prevalence is increasing. Is the reason because of the fact that 1. The human body has evolutionary bias towards storing fat. 2. Now as more calorie dense food is available people have opted for that The study on children found that people with more mc4r mutation opted for more calorie food. But these mutations would have been present earlier also ,so these mutations in current environment of easy availability is probably causing this epidemic (one reason )?? What could be the primary preventive strategies ?? Like if people are supposedly unknowingly following there brain as you had mentioned then what is the primary prevention of obesity ?? It seems exercise has minimal role and only decreases penetrance of some genes!!
