Don't think McCarthy is playing this season outside of injury. There is a reason the great offensive coaches wanted Darnold on the team. I expect Darnold to play the full season and I expect the Vikings to be competitive.
On the punishment thing; I am in a league where the comish just arbitrarily tries to pick a punishment around week 2-3 of the season... I have never come in last, but i tell him every time i wont do it, as thats garbage. So if its that situation, you are trash, you dont decide comish, the league agrees on something. If its something that was agreed upon, then no rewards for that manager in the future for winning either (if they remain in the league). Shouldnt take bets you can't pay. Hell ive had to do a polar plunge, eat a handful of leaves, wear a jelly hat for an entire game (bees love jelly btw)...waffle house is ez.
@zacwoodard5874 around 4 to even 6. Top 3 wr in fantasy need a good qb, and that is too uncertain with vikes right now. U need to project not go off the past.
@@Twincity55 would u sell JJ for the farm in dynasty rn if the price is right or hold out for brighter days ahead if he maybe does become a bengal eventually?
@@Twincity55 I’ve been on the London train since day one, drafted him with the 3rd pick in my rookie draft. We’re a super flex, start 12, 12 man league, and I have 7 of the 12 first round picks next year. One of the guys has only 1 starting QB and he gave away his 1st to me 😂
I would probably propose halving the time to 12 hours in waffle house and each waffle eaten takes off 30-45minutes instead that way its a bit less taxing on the person’s time. Also they have a higher probability of leaving waffle house with their life hahaha 😂
Gentlemen Stanley Morgan, in true, actual reality, was one of the best WRs in Patriots history. I am old. I stumbled upon you guys fairly early on. You reminded me of my friends. We are in a dynasty league that drafted Peyton Manning as a rookie. None of us had any idea we were in one. We just thought Jimmie was making it up. But it was fun. I appreciate what you guys do. Thank you, Tom.
My opinion on the league punishment thing is that... it shouldn't take a whole damn day out of the guys life. It's just too much instead of just being something silly/slightly embarrassing. WITH THAT SAID... if the guy agreed to it at the start of the year knowing this was the punishment and it wasn't decided retroactively then yeah he needs to just pony up with the caveat that the league not pull something that stupid again the next year.
This is blow your mind coincidence. May 23, 2024 and if you go to CBS fantasy football today and listen to their May 23 podcast and listen to 17:55 you will hear the lyrics “do you remember” by Dave Richards. And @ 10:00 on the fantasy footballers podcast May 23. Andy sings the same thing.
Why is it so taboo to say Josh Palmer is the chargers WR1? He’s balled out every time he’s been called upon due to Mike/Keenan injury. Great route running, high points the ball, great contested catcher, rapport with Herb. I’d argue he’s the most likely to be their WR1
Wait the udk takes custom scoring??? Anyone know how sophisticated that feature is? I’m in a league with goofy qb scoring (12 passing yards for a point) and I’ve always wanted a better way to rank that league
Another WR room that makes me think “good luck” is Houston. I have no clue if picking one or just staying away all together. Especially cuz their ADP is much higher than taking a chance on a Green Bay WR and missing.
I’ve been doing a lot of Reed and Doubs. Or Reed and Wicks. Doubs and Wicks in best ball. Feel the best thing to do with the packers WRs are to just pair them up. Hoping at least one of the 2 have a good game. Don’t think I’d do it in redraft, maybe a dynasty league.
Christian Watson is the Packers number 1. I don't even see how it is an argument for otherwise. The only way Watson isn't the Packers 1, is when he is hurt. Now if you want to say Jayden Reed is the player to target because of availability, sure... but to suggest he is going to outperform Watson if both are healthy is just naïve to me.
The McBride situation (who I had last year), was so good because the Cardinals had no one receiving last year. This year Marvin Harrison will EAT up all those targets. Enough said.
Give an option for a similar punishment: if they don’t want to do Waffle House let them go to IHOP for pancakes If they refuse to do what they agreed to then take their 1st round pick away or boot them
Start up dynasty draft. I have the 1.01. Do I try to trade it? If not..... who do I take? It's a 2 QB, 2 rb, 2 wr, 1 te, 3 flex league. 4 pt passing td, 6 pt other tds.
Waffle guy should go at least make an appearance at Waffle House and give it a good effort trying to eat as many as he can. If he eats ten and leaves, then at least he did SOMETHING to respect the league's agreement.
It seems everyone forgot how bad the Eagles were down the stretch last year. They were one of the worst teams in football. Then they lose Kelce to retirement. But now everyone just expects their offense to still be elite. Idk man I'm at least a little worried.
I love McBride and agree he is elite. However, the argument against him seems pretty obvious... Marvin Harrison Jr. taking a crap ton of targets in the offense (leaving less for McBride). I don't think it ruins McBride, but he could take a dip in production.
