I said this in Rob's comment section too. I've been waiting for season tickets for 10 years now. It pisses me off to see all these "Seahawks fans" flipping their tickets. Getting a decent ticket at any game is well over $200
After watching a couple other Seahawks pods breaking down the film from the 49ers game, I'm a bit more optimistic that it wasn't quite as bad as the explosive plays made it look. They still happened, of course, but it seems like there were signs of improvement against the run, believe it or not. I think having Murphy back this week will be big and hopefully we'll see more improvement against the run, although with the secondary injuries, we'll probably just get killed in the air now. The last three games have been a bit of a reality check for me as far as expectations for this season, and I'm looking for other positive signs moving forward, outside of wins and losses. I'm hoping next offseason is when Macdonald will really be able to start to put his stamp on the construction of this roster.
I recently found you guys and I love to hear the UK take on the Seahawks. I appreciate the dedication you have for the Seahawks. It's not easy having to stay up all night just to watch the games, but that's we're called fans.
Thanks so much. It can be a bit of a task to stay up/wake up in the middle of the night for games over here but we are dedicated fans so it's worth it 🤙
Appreciate you all very much! Great listening to you guys and Rob and it’s a bonus for me because everything sounds better in an English accent IMO 😁 Big thanks from across the pond. Go Hawks! 💙💚
So cool to see true 12’s from across the pond speak Seahawks. I dig hearing our British lads go in passionately about our/their Seahawks. These boys didn’t hold back here. They are calling everything out and I love it. It demonstrates they truly care. Well done gentlemen. I truly enjoyed listening to your perspectives. Also, as far as I’m concerned the most glaring issue is the defensive tackling. If out tackling was like week one we would be 5 and 1 or 4 and 2 right. To be fair to our beloved Seahawks we have to give this some time. I believe in Macdonald and Schneider. We will eventually right the ship but it may take longer then we all initially anticipated. Great podcast men.
Thanks so much dude! We are very passionate about our Seahawks and try to be as honest as possible. Regarding the tackling, that is something that I have spoken about at length pretty much every week as it is a coaching speciality of mine and it is sub par at the moment. There are occasions where it is top tier and others where there is just a lack of want to tackle - Josh
Nice show guy's, seems reality has hit home for those who had (in my opinion) unrealistic expectations. Everyone echoed what I've been saying since before the season started that it's potentially going to take 2-3 seasons to turn things around but progress and growth needs to be seen during that time. MM has a very inexperienced coaching staff at the NFL level and without sounding like a broken record patience is required. I have faith in the coaches and hopefully they will prove that faith justified.🤞
@Mitch_12Talk Always enjoy your show and listening to Josh and your views. May not always agree but love that we can agree to disagree 😁 It's great seeing the channel growing, you guys deserve to have a wider audience 👍
Around the 19 minute mark the talk about leaders really hit. We keep asking where's the leaders but the team is kind of loaded with vets and everyone is acting like it's something that is someone else's respinsibility.
Agreed. The lack of real leadership is a frustration. We need someone to grab the team by the scruff of the neck and drag them up through games. We're still waiting to see who that can be. Geno has done it from time to time but he can't be asked to do it alone. He has enough to worry about running for his life on every down...
@@12TalkPodcastI haven’t even been seeing it from Geno. He’s never really been that kind of player, but for this month he has acted like he doesn’t care, pouting on the sideline by himself, the bad press conferences. When Sam Howell is on the sideline talking to DK rather than the starter, then there is a problem. It’s a giant problem to have zero leaders, even worse when that includes your qb.
Rob is right This team is a soft mediocre team Only blue chip player is the punter , Geno crumbles like a cookie under pressure and Mike Macdonald looks lost without answers , Seahawks are closer to a rebuild than a playoff run
It's a resounding "NO" from me. He chose to move on when he could have resigned. He specifically said he doesn't want to play LB and that's what we would need him for. Plus his body just isn't letting him play any more so it would be a waste of a roster spot - Josh
