State of the University with Fr. Dave Pivonka TOR '89 and Christie Fleming '10 

I'm not an alumni but my son went to Franciscan. It was the best decision he ever made. Unfortunately his Austria trip was cut short because of the pandemic. That was his only disappointment. How many college kids can say they only have one disappointment after four years of college. Fr. Dave is a true leader and just a great person. We are so blessed.

So glad to see that Fr. Dave continues the legacy of leading the university by the Holy Spirit as his mentor Fr. Mike Scanlon did. I cannot quantify how blessed I am to have been at that school during my most formative years. The growth and expansion will ensure that there is a bright future for the Church in America

Informative!!!

I was not aware the university made a statement about the rise in anti-Semitism on college campuses. I am so glad that Franciscan U is opening there doors to them. When it comes to Israel, whom I support 100%, I am never sure where the Catholic Church stands.

As an alumna, I really appreciate this communication and look forward to more in the future!

I agree the chapel needs to be renovated. It needed to be renovated 25 years ago when I was there. It was never very beautiful unfortunately. But maybe make something that is timeless that will never need to be renovated again other than obviously maintenance.

I hate the term encounter because of what it is come to symbolize nowadays. I'm sure it's a perfectly good term to use it's just that it's become such a liberal buzzword.
