The “world” doesn’t care about anyone , stop being a weak minded victim. Stop thinking about other people and focus on yourself. Your manifesting negativity inside yourself and reflecting it outward. You need God in your life, the “world” was always a sick place its the devils playground, if you keep focusing on all the bad thats what you will become.

When August states "It's not normal" I felt that deeply. What is normal to the black culture? Everything is designed and we all been trying to find a way out, to bring all our people with us, to show them they can do it too! It's hard when you want to live your dream and uplift your community at the same time. As a black culture I pray we all be in tune with our spiritual side! We need more awaken souls to carry out this generation on the alignment of peace, love and light. One thing I learned is that I am a spiritual begin having a human experience 🙌🏾💜👑 One day you all will know this too and be divinely guided on your order steps! Peace - Tavi Babii

Wow 🥺 It’s Amazing Aug How Over The Years We Have Learned About Your Life Rather, It’s Through Your Music Or An Interview But Seeing Your Testimony And How You Overcame So Much And It’s Still Here And Resilient Makes Me Love You Even More 😭

It’ll make a year that my little sister passed from kidney failure. She to didn’t want to live her life in pain. That resonated with me. I’m still broken behind it.

I feel for this young man. It's not easy growing up in the hood. And especially with a father that is on drugs, that use to be in the military. I can def relate to the trauma he has been through, not all of it but most of it. I'm glad he is speaking his peace and being more vocal.

August I’ve watched u since the start and to see your growth and the way that u can take a life of so much pain and struggle and turn it around into something so profitable and happy and loving while still growing and acknowledging things that affected I is infectious....one can’t help when watching u to want to reflect on themselves and dig deep to realize it’s ok to not be perfect but just the best version of yourself and appreciate the perfection that comes from your flaws because these are the things that make u who u are....just because life has its shortcomings at times and u may have experienced so much grief it doesn’t mean that that is the end.....when ur at the bottom of the bottom there’s no where left to go but up and it just takes u to make that happen....use ur struggle as motivation. u have to ground to yourself and push through any and all adversities because they just make the come up and perseverance so much better....I applaud u and pray for your continued growth and prosperity u deserve that and more....so glad ur hurt hasn’t hardened or closed your heart and I love that u can share your story in such a loving way 🥰😘😍

Him and normani need to collab a Nola collab... if she don’t make a song w/ Wayne, august and lucky daye if not her team is trash and missed a great opportunity especially since they want her to “find an urban audience”

I love how this is a documentary about his life but also about the experiences of black men and what It means to grow up in the hood. What the trauma of seeing certain things does to a person, black kids, black people specifically takes a real toll. We are fighting the oppression of white people and simulatenously we are in need of deep, deep healing, on an individual and collective level as a people. And I pray we get there as a community.
