One question about the last section where you said that you can't calculate power from your sample. Usually, most power analysis tools I saw, ask for a sample dataset to be able to calculate the power. How else will be able to calculate the power if we don't use a sample for it?
Excellent explanations but notice how this is farther and farther from anything having to do with reality, that is, the experiment. Not meant to be ironic. It does tell you why this can be useful in clear-cut cases, like machining objects. When you ask about biological outcome, you must carry your understanding of the biology into any calculation. This sounds obvious but is so rare;u done.
