How well does it recognise where the pitch lines are? Does it need to be calibrated to pitch boundaries before games?

The heatmap is something you do after the session, you can zoom and rotate on a map which shows you the pitch - very easy and effective

Hi,quick question,can i pair the pod and leave my phone at home then train at the pitch about 1km away will it disconnect?

No, the pod saves all the data you don’t have to take your phone with, you can sink it at home too. Just turn the pod off after your session, then turn back on, then sync on your phone.

Can this also useable with regular running exercise? Would love to know my speed and check on some other data, Yes i do play football but only with friends although i am planning to get into a football After school activity at my new school

Sure you can use it for running too, know matter how you use it, it will still pick up on your metrics.

Yes you can, I have used it for sprint sessions away from the pitch.

Can it pair with my Polar H10 heart rate monitor? Or it only can be paired with Statsports' heart rate monitor?

I believe it can only be paired with the statsports heart rate monitor - I maybe wrong I haven't tried it using polar heart rate monitor

It's not. It's a whole separate wrist device. Unusable for soccer.

Can my son use this at training while I'm at home. With the app on my phone ?

Yes he can, once he has done his session tell him to turn off the pod by holding it down. When he returns home turn the pod on and then sync the session.
