Some of the scenes that you don't know is what makes people fans of the characters. I see that as you learning to love them from the depiction in statue form versus story form. You have a genuine joy for the art of it all and to me that's just as cool. Its not why you like something, its how much you like it and why its important to you. You've displayed it all beautifully. Awesome job.

Thanks, thats so true, i get negative feedback sometimes on not know about a character but i dont hide the fact that i dont know much about a piece. I just tell you why i connected with the statue and what made me add it to my collection. Thanks for the feedback!

Thanks? i can't tell if that is a dig or genuine comment :) But its definitely true, im clueless about most of the characters and gravitate towards pieces that speak to me in different ways. In some cases like with Thanos, i read his comics after collecting the statue. Thanks for the comment!

Just a note to say that your room has inspired me. In no way do I have a collection like yours but I downloaded your video just before I started building my new home and your layout, colours etc have been the benchmark. Thanks for your feedback. I actually sometimes buy a piece of art or statue not knowing everything about it because their is something about it that i love but can't really put into words. Its a feeling. As far as ballin, some of my favorite pieces that i dont know anything about were only a few bucks so ballin doesn't have anything to do with it. :)

+statueup Thanks. The new and old joker i absolutely love and im so glad i was able to get them before they sold out and get the painting too. For iceman i had to wait almost a year until i came across a good deal on it because it was the clear exclusive version.

incredible collection, one of the best presentations I've watched. I like the diagromas you have. great shooting of your pieces. It's something you can enjoy watching later for your own enjoyment. +StatueReview Thanks, I actually like the newer doors they have now with the black border. Those Tombo doors were a pain to get because of how many i need and how heavy they are. I bought them all at once because i didnt want to be missing doors when they were discontinued. Either way i highly recomend any door as they keep dust out. I haven't dusted since i added the doors and the statues look dust free.

One can only dream to have a room and collection like yours. Amazing. Side note: IKEA should have never gotten rid of those TOMBO glass doors. In Germany, they replaced it with Fiskviken doors, but they haven't made it to the states. Grrr!

I'm surprised you don't have Galactus, Hawkeye, Vision, Black Panther and Falcon statues by Bowen. They're hard to get now. Also Ghost Rider and classic Dr. Strange. Again, nice collection though.

48:28 this guy is Ripclaw from Cyber Force. Pretty cool character. The guy in the center of that shelf next to him is Shadowhawk. Also an early Image character. Nice collection!

i think the only way this could be improved is 3d printing back drops for each cabniet . Giving a theme and maybe finding lil props , custom bits of light etc creating mini stage sets

I got them from Ikea. They are called Ikea Besta and they are modular so you can sort of customize how you use them. Here is their 3d program i used to help me create my setup. www.ikea.com/ms/en_US/rooms_ideas/planner_bestauppleva/

your truck is a 56 or 57 ford f100...it has a wrap around window on the front. 53-55 did not have wrap around window on the front.

a little bit of both, now that i have a full collection, they definitely find me. For example, i have a 32 inch Galactus from Hasbro that i stumbled upon and hope to add to my collection soon.

Dennis, enjoyed this video a couple of times. Great collection and display. On my way to getting a nice collection myself. Main focus is Conan, but addicted now and moving into all of them. To be honest i have not needed to dust my statues since i got my bestas. Its crazy but dust does not make its way into the cabinets. But outside or on top of the smaller bestas i use a swiffer.

+Dennis Mangual Thanks for the reply. Wound up just doing it the old fashion way and the only way I know how. By hand, slow, and with a nice soft microfiber towel I use on my '79 TA show car. Can't wait for the Bestas. Way too many statues on pre-order, otherwise they'll have to stay boxed and what's the fun in that?

Thanks! Dust? Nope, there is no dust in the cabinets because i have doors to protect the statues. Its been about two years since i installed these Ikea Besta's with lighting and doors and i haven't had to dust my statues or figures once. It was really worth the investment to get the doors on the display cases.

Godzilla is great but not my cup of tea for my collection. I just wish i had more room, especially for Prime 1 statues.... Maybe one day when i get bigger house lol.
