First prophecy of Moroni about Joseph Smith: "He called me by name, and said unto me that he was a messenger sent from the presence of God to me, and that his name was Moroni; that God had a work for me to do; and that my name should be had for good and evil among all nations, kindreds, and tongues, or that it should be both good and evil spoken of among all people."

Before people start freaking out about “shrines”, understand the church did not commission this, and was made independently of the church. We simply respect that Brother Joseph was recognized as a founder of world religion in a respectable way

This is so beautiful! It’s the first instance I have heard of someone not of our faith honoring Joseph Smith in this way and in an intent to foster inter-religious harmony! It made me cry that they would include us in such a way!

This unveiling reminds me of the words from the hymn Praise to the Man - "Millions shall know Brother Joseph again." What a blessing to witness the gospel continuing to reach across the globe.

THAT'S how you achieve world peace, through the respectful pursuit of mutual understanding and love. What a kind gesture by Dr. Karad. His MIT World Peace University has a truly admirable mission and I wish him great success. 😌

I love people of India, they are good and loving. 20 years back I work in part of Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu and visited some place in Karnataka. Im a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of the Latter day Saints. I invite my Indian friends to come and visit the churches near you and accept the invitation from the missionaries to visit your home and learn the goapel of Jesus Christ.

And just think, the U.S., when the U.S. Postal service printed an edition stamps of early Western pioneers, didn’t even recognize Brigham Young as a contributor. The American knowledge of history is abysmal. Kudos to India.

To The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Days Saints Joseph Smith is the 1st Prophet of the Restoration .To other world religions Joseph Smith is seen from a different perspective within Buddhism and Hinduism.

What a gift from the hands of these magnificent artists, created out of love and respect. Their hearts are so open, pure and generous. They must have felt deeply and to think what joy these precious people felt in this heavenly creation. God loves His children' in every nation of the world. May we learn to love without reservation.

We've been called to serve in the India Bengaluru mission and we couldn't be more thrilled about this event! The perceptions that government and civic leaders hold for our church as peace loving, of holding the same values of marriage and family, is important and significant. We are hoping it will mean more missionaries will be allowed to enter India. Currently we are waiting for Visas along with two other couples. I just sense India is ready to blossom like South America and Africa in the past. It's an exciting time to be called as missionaries to India!!

I recently met an older couple who lived in India for five years. The husband had served as a mission President there. Their stories of the sacrifices of the Indian Saints were inspiring.

All I ever hear of is scammers and call center scams all over India scamming Americans I never liked India because of this and I never trusted this country!
