We have visited Statue Of Unity| Sardar Vallabh Bhai Patel, kevadia (ekta nagar) in monsoon season.
We boarded ekta nagar express (Train No 12927) from Dadar at 23.50 PM and reached ekta nagar at around 8.30 AM.
We stayed at Statue of unity for 2D 1N, we booked our accommodation at BGR Budget stay which is around 1.5 KM from Ekta nagar station. Cost of accommodation was Rs. 1,800 per night for double accommodation with breakfast.
We took Zarwani eco tourism bus from Bharat Bhawan which will provide tour of seven places in Statue of Unity which included various places and cost Rs 400 per person.
We have covered following places in our vlog of Day 2:
1) Khalwani Eco Tourism Zone - River rafting can be done here at charges of Rs 1000 per person. River Rafting on the River Narmada. Eligibility of Age for admission is above 14 years to Maximum 55 years.
2) Ekta Nursery - Ekta Nursery was envisioned by Hon'ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi while dedicating the Statue of Unity to the Nation. He suggested developing Ekta Nursery as a tourist destination to spread awareness about eco-friendly practices.
3) Cactus and Butterfly Garden - GEER Foundation has developed Cactus Garden on the opposite end of SOU on the bank of river Narmada. There are more than 450 species of Cacti and succulents from 17different countries have been planted here. Cactus dome is one of the largest dome in India which contains 836Sq meter area.
4) Zarwani Waterfall - Located 11 KM from SOU, its beautiful natural area near SOU
5) Jungle Safari Statue of Unity - Sardar Patel Zoological Park is a major Tourist Destination at Ekta Nagar in Narmada district of Gujarat State, spread over an area of around 375 acres with extremely undulating topography. The Zoo houses 2 Bird aviaries. These two aviaries are having state of the art geodesic design designated for Indian and exotic Birds. At start of video we have also included total budget of the travel.
