My heart goes out to Matt, for those who don't know his younger brother just passed away from a rare form of terminal cancer (not sure what type), he should be in all of our prayers.

I don’t see how they can do it? Most states have rules in order that limits the amount of people that can gather. Like 50 to 100 Maybe Florida doesn’t have these rules in place?

This is the perfect event for a time like this as it is PPV and not a crowd based event. Everyone needs a little sunshine to offset the darkness around us.
Wow....if there was a large gathering event here in Hawaii, everyone attending will be fined $5000.00 and/or up to one year in prison. Basically we are not supposed to leave our home unless you are traveling to an "essential job" or shopping for "essential supplies".
You must take into account the increased risk if the freedom 500 is to take place. You will have drivers traveling to attend the race. This will increase the chance of spreading the virus. Emergency first response will most likely be at the track taking away precious resources from those that may need them. Not to mention if something should go wrong taxing the health care system at its most vulnerable. I’m looking forward to this event even if it happens 6 months from now. Do your part.
When the SHTF I was worried about 3 things: Work, school, and The Freedom 500, not necessarily in that order. Now im down to 2. Thank you to everyone and stay healthy!

Its not a matter of waiting though. It would detract from the next event (people cant take off of work then two weeks later do it again or if they break down no time to fix equipment) so would just be cancelled.

the only good thing about that happening was the family knew it was coming and got to spend a ton of quality time together, and hopefully were able to say goodbye. I lost my father to cancer, I knew it was coming and was able to have some great memories and say goodbye.
@@Excitable101 I lost my dad to cancer as well. I could see it coming for a while and all I could think about was his kid's, I was only a couple years older than Mark's oldest when my dad passed. Even when you know it's coming, nothing can really prepare you for it, especially at that age. My heart goes out to them and Mark's wife.

I'm glad it's still going on. I was just about to order it and found out both me and my wife were laid off due to the outbreak. So now we have to wait for it to come on RU-vid later on. Please pray for Matt and his family he is dealing with a major loss. Can't wait to be able to see it when you release it.

I'd like to see an update that provides info on the measures you're taking to help prevent this virus from spreading physically at this event. It's astounding to me how little people actually care about that in the US right now. You have excellent social influence and should be using it responsibly. I know I'm gonna get flamed to oblivion here but I'm not wrong. I also believe we need valuable entertainment like this right now more than ever to calm the herd, but responsibility and accountability for the freedom 500 staff and crew should not be overlooked. No more than 35 people on a massive track. Most of the event people are going to be in separate vehicles. Social distancing shouldn't be hard. I really dont see the point in everyone insisting other people share their prevention measures when they are all the same.

You are still doing this event !! Is that a good idea right now ?? When you have to push to make something happen and allot of pieces fall out of place its a good sign maybe not such a good idea.

I know it’s not bad where you are, but i work in a hospital in NY. There are HUNDREDS of people dying alone because no one is allowing visitors to slow the spread of this. I’m just one guy but it’s a terrible idea to get anyone together in any place right now. People are infecting each other before they know they’re sick.
