I’ve been listening to Quo since I was a kid in 1986. Francis is my hero. He inspired me to learn guitar. These days I’m into Judas Priest but Francis got me into guitar. I thought he was so cool with the earring and pony tail. I finally got to see Francis in Dubai last year. Francis is Quo. Some of the “fans” I met there were so cringe. They stood around and talked shit about the band but they still ran when the doors open. You all know who you are. All you with your meet and greet patches. You are what scares new fans off. Even at the gig, Francis told you to go away
Rock n Roll legends, stalwarts. A shining example and epitome of longevity.. Go Quo.. Beyond Rock 'til you drop and then some.. Entirely up to Quo when they stop but I doubt it has an end.. Their history shows just different faces of the same group. Still a few surviving or original members left that could return one day, if the need ever arose? What a sight that would be.. Absolutely enjoyed this video! So nice to listen to all the guys as its rare to see Andy and Rhino getting interviewed. Great back stories on the devoted fans and Francis's green guitar. Thanks for posting the best Quo video.
This was their best line up,Matt Letley was a great drummer that brought the quo’s music to a new level🤘glad I saw them with this line up,was one of the best concerts I’ve seen!
@@rokerman disagree.....insipid sound ad looked like he was going through the motions...but Jeff Rich was worse then he was. nothing but a startstruck kid at the time. Matt has been the best drummer replacing John. leon doesnt cut it either
Andrew says he joined in 1976 but old age must be creeping up on him because he actually started working with Quo in 73 because he was on the hello album.
@@clairemarkham3485 He is listed as session musician on all albums from 1977 to 1981 and is not appearing on any band pictures on the album covers. In a interview with Lancaster he talks about the moment when he talked with Bown about how he was probably going to be a permanent member in a year or two. This was around the time for the recording of Just Supposin and Never Too Late I think. backwateronline.weebly.com/interviews-1-3.html
