Great job Geoff...one of the first singles I ever bought, really miss Mr Parfitt he was a great rhythm player and had (for me) one of the best voices in rock..if you decide one day to do another acoustic lesson...why not living on an island? It moves away from the 12 bar blues that Quo were sometimes criticised for.
Hi Jon, it's always fun doing a Quo song. This one is was always a favorite song for me when I was learning the guitar. Living on a Island was certainly different for them. Lets see what I can do.
Thank you for this! I'm going to need to practice a lot to get the speed/finger stretching down, but this really helps with helping players develop that signature Status Quo boogie in their playing!

I see what you mean about the solo, to be honest, you were not seamless like when Rossi plays it. There were some semi pauses!! I always thought it looked easy, but if you couldn't play it, it isn't!
