Add electrolytes to your water for better hydration.
Add some lemon or lime to your water- can add a tiny bit of salt
Drink juices, eat foods high in water content like fruits- watermelon, oranges, pineapple
Please limit iced tea, tea, coffee caffeine products these actually have a diuretic effect and make you lose fluid.
Sometimes it doesn’t take much time in the heat to experience this.
Weakness/ Lethargy
Dizziness
Nausea
Severe fatigue
Muscle weakness
Heart palpitations/ arrhythmias
Feelings of feeling very ill
Feeling like you might faint
Please get hydration with electrolytes right away and try to cool off. If your house is too hot, visit the library, mall, community center or family and friends.
