I’m loving these videos you and Alex are doing together! The stoke is palpable and you both seem to just flow together. Thanks for another great video with some amazing technical trail features and awesome scenery.
It's crazy the huge skill advancement of both you and Alex over the last few years. A few years back I felt like I was on your skill level or maybe just a touch ahead of you both. But man your riding stuff now I think I would walk around. Very cool to watch and inspiring!
Angel's Landing is stellar. Glad you guys made it up there :) I was halfway up when a thunderstorm was hitting and we decided to turn back; the sandstone gets life threateningly slick in the rain. But no worries - I'll be back. Zion is incredible.
Awesome! I'm 61 and did Angels Landing in 2019 (BTW, I thought Observation Point was a MUCH better view!) and I hiked to the top of Nevada Falls in 2016. We're going back to Yosemite in July but I will be very limited due to recent health issues :-( Thanks for sharing and be safe!
My Ripmo is coming in June. Ordered a few months ago. Most money I've spent on a bike but I'm sure it'll be awesome. The old Release has 2500 miles and plan for the Ripmo to have lots.
I enjoyed your 50 state tour, watched them all, but I am enjoying your extended "safari" (?;) in Southern Utah even more! Thanks for the great videos. I do plan to ride there someday.
Another excellent video! Thank you so much; really glad I circled back to your channel. Heading to St. George & Hurricane last week of March, so this series has been great showcasing a lot of the stuff out there. Don't think I'll be dragging the family to this or Guacamole. Don't think I'm up for it either... depending on mood, fitness and perhaps what demo bike options there are. Thanks again.
The joy of being in the same place for awhile, if you bike doesn't sound so great and your worried about the video, there's lots of time to ride it again, learn the trail and ride it better then the first time
lol i'm pretty sure the 'pumping your own fuel' and 'buying giant sodas cups the size of your face' thing has more to do with preventing nameless corporations from profiting over people taking risks they may not fully understand or consent to lol... but still, totally understand the sentiment. and honestly loving these videos with you and Alex!!
I agree; the two are completely different! Too bad it delves into the political. Corporations using monopolistic, illegal tactics to not only foist their garbage on Americans, but also at the same time, eliminate better - and "free" - food choices is NOT "American" or about "freedom." It's bullshit corporate control, excess and profiteering at the expense of Americans. There are millions of inner city and poor Americans who will NEVER be able to ride stuff like this because of their inability to purchase and consume healthy food to ensure a long, healthy life of mountain biking. The issues involved are far more complex than soda, but just be glad that we do enjoy the freedom to ride this amazing terrain. We should be advocating for everyone to be able to do this. And part of that would be preventing corporate interests from freely dumping their crap food on the vulnerable who have no other choices. Aside: a friend was taking a group of inner city kids through Yosemite. As they looked up at the amazing granite walls a thousand feet high, one kid asked, "Wow, who built this?" That's some crazy disenfranchisement right there!
These trails put New England chunk to Shame lol things like this is an eye opener for people who don’t know this exist in our country . These views are amazing
this line is insane, super technical (for me) with such a great view...i think i have to start riding more on the Alps instead of all these lines in the woods 😂😎 Great video!
A dislike vote?! what a sad miserable existence that person must have. Keep up the Stoke Brian! I've watched every one of your 50-state shred videos, and probably 90% of the stuff before that. Legit my favorite YT channel! Stay RAD!!!!
Who needs a bell when you have brakes like that!!!! Also.... Brian: I hate having noises and clinks and clacks... Brian's Brakes: Let me sing you the song of my people!!!!
"It feels great that there are still a few things you can do that can genuinely kill you, that you can go and do. That's freedom, that's liberty, that's what we were founded upon"
I lost my rear brake on some trails up here in Montana and chose to walk some steep and techy sections on a black trail. Can't believe you rode down that without a front brake!
"If you can't trust a middle school Spanish teacher in this world, who can you trust!?" LOL! So good! I'm a middle school band teacher. Nate and I should use that when we ride together. Haha! 2 middle school teachers shredding Grafton. So good! We did that last year actually. Hit up my grafton edit!
And just around the corner from Flying Monkey is an even crazier trail that is about as close as most people can get to riding a Red Bull Rampage line (other than riding the old RBR course that is on the other side of the valley).
Dude you had me s******* in my pants on some of those drop-offs left and rights I was scared to crap for you Excellent video as always please take it easier I would love to see you do that trail with a diamondback atroz 2 the DH version 120x120 at least that's what I have and it does not have a dropper post when you purchase but I added one
