Regarding The Bee Gees in 1969 Elvis did his rendition of their song "Words". You can hear it on the 1969 Live at the Hilton LP. It was also in the 1970 movie "That's The Way it is". Regarding the song "Staying Alive" he never got a chance to hear because of his untimely death August 16th 1977 and the song was released December 13th 1977.

I can just hear one of the cooks/maids saying to Vernon: Mr. Presley, we need some new pans and Vernon says: well let me take a look. Then I can just hear Vernon saying well. I think they’ll last a little longer will look at them again next month before we buy new ones. Ha ha!

Me and a buddy went to Graceland in late July of 1977. I talked to the gate guard and asked him which room was Elvis’ bedroom. He pointed to the upstairs room. I think it was Vester but I’m not sure. Before we left I went to the fence by the little chapel to the left of the gate and climbed over. My buddy got nervous and wouldn’t do it. I walked around for about a minute and jumped back over. In about 1989 I took a tour of Graceland and it was a neat experience.

Riley seems so cool and down to earth. I’ll bet she would let your whole family do a private visit after hours so you could walk around and show the younger ones where you lived etc. They are all about having the younger generation learn about Elvis to keep his memory alive! I agree Danielle Graceland is not how Elvis had it when he passed away.I wish they would've left it how he had it.I went when it first opened and I remember you could get really close to the cars .I have pictures of the pink Cadillac with the passenger door opened and you could see inside.I don't think you could do that now.I also remember when going downstairs to the jungle room there was a door and it was cracked opened and i peeked with one eye and saw an elderly lady sitting watching television. I wondered if it was his grandma or Aunt Delta?I am glad I went then.Priscilla thinks she too good to rub elbows with regular folk.Poor Lisa,I think if she would've kept coming to Graceland and hanging with you and the kids she may have been a happier person.Happy Fathers Day Billy! I have a few questions for Billy and Jo. 1) What was Elvis's mood as well as his physical shape during the last Hawaiian vacation in March 1977 as I read he went home a little early? 2) Were you with Elvis or aware of when he exited the Hilton in Cincinnati a few hours before his next to last ever concert in 1977 because the air conditioning stopped working in his room? If so, please share your memories. 3) Finally, do you remember a silver and burgundy 1977 Cadillac Seville with wire wheels Elvis may have purchased as possibly his last vehicle? I saw a picture of it parked on the lawn of Graceland during Elvis funeral procession. Thanks, your friend in Elvis, Joe😮

*QUESTION:* I saw a video on RU-vid last year including a home movie of Billy supposedly shot between 1968 and 1970 in front of Graceland. He was wearing a fairly big gauze bandage over his lower arm. Do you remember what happened to require that bandage? It looked like a fairly significant injury based on amount of bandage on your arm.
