Listen, I was on the street for 7 months. Slept in an empty pool on the roof of a hotel (No one ever went up there and for some reason they never maintained the pool) If it wasn't for the Rally's manager across the street who gave me free food at the end of his shift (shouts out to Doug lol), I have no idea how I would have ate anything back then. If the guns are grabbed, life as we know is over. Our culture, our achievements. Family, friends, ideology... they mean nothing. The guns are what matter. That being said, Manuel, for someone who supposedly cares about all of this, must have forgotten to read Biden's platform on Gun control... Yes, a PLATFORM as in an extensive plan laid out by an adult. Something the current administration hasn't unveiled for 2020... Biden's plan allows you to keep your guns... Even your silencers if you are currently legal to own them. It tightens BACKGROUND checks those who are legit... It prevents the purchase of large numbers of guns per month in an effort to keep people from buying for gang members or other's who can't legally have one... It brings back a restriction that doesn't let a person with a documented mental handicap buy guns. It enforces the restriction of rifles not having clips with over a 30 round capacity.... The list goes on, but it's SPECIFICALLY TAILORED to avoid any radical left's push for this bullshit claim of a "Gun-grab". To be honest, if anyone tried to actually assert their 2nd amendment rights for the implied intention, TRUMP would be the first one to sign an executive order and have his military at your door to take your "protection against a tyrannical government"... Just sayin'... Look at the administration who has repeatedly shit on the constitution and the "rights" afforded to us... They all think it's F'ing funny until it affects them. I'd rather have a leader who has to fight to legally change the constitution than one who openly ignores it at will.

I don't think you're thinking about the cost of actually getting an apartment or house to even rent. First, last, security deposit, electric deposit, bills, water etc. It adds up and unfortunately a lot of America cannot afford that kind of money up front. So this is definitely a cheaper route.

But...occasionally we are within the states and for a 3-month stay I can usually find a "decent" furnished studio apartment for $400/month in smaller rural towns. In the South we sometimes get them for cheaper than that. The last one was $280.00 Electric included... No A/C. "Heating" was not an issue. It had a full kitchen. THAT ALONE (cooking at home) will save two people more than the actual rent. Eating out and GOING out kills you in a motel versus being able to chill at home and cook (and grill) your meals. Sometimes our finds are "dumpy" others have been gems. 1st floor, near shopping and small-town entertainment in SAFE areas. We travel with equipment. Security is our main criteria. We obviously don't put utilities into our names for such short stays so these are, of course "efficiency" rentals and we use data for internet. A recent place was the backside of on the backside of a bar/restaurant that had guest WiFi for it's patrons... BONUS! $600 plus security. ($300/month x2) Not a penny more for ANYTHING. and it was HUGE... One small bedroom and a GIANT open kit living area that was a bit weird. Felt like being in an empty café. I think these two are in a Motel-6 (auggggh!... Bedbug infested health hazards) and obviously aren't there on an AARP discount, so $60/night?... Do the math. $1800.00? Even with a security deposit they could EASILY have a little place of their own that a bottle of bleach and some personal touches would make it a home for far less. My house payment on 9 acres including a work-shop, 2 garages, and a small rental cabin is HALF that. Of COURSE, there are (tons) of expense/taxes tacked on to that and "Homeless" is technically correct in a hotel, but come on. I wish these two well and continued RU-vid success, but judging by the prayers and "sympathy/empathy" in the comments, one would think they were living in a carboard box when in reality, they are a product of their own priorities. My apologies to you if you reading all of this nonsense on a phone! =)

Interesting thought process. You started with uncertainty by saying "I think these two are just conning everyone". But by the end of your sentence you were certain and asking if others were going to fall for it. Maybe they are and maybe they aren't. You shouldn't have any certainty because you lack the necessary information. Since you lack certainty of any degree you should keep your "wow"s to yourself.
