Great review ! I think the remodeled Premeir Pyramid rooms are cooler and nicer. I just returned from a stay at Luxor, and they cleaned the room daily without my having to call them. We also had a refrigerator in the room which was nice. The prices here are amazing, I am staying there again 5 nights over Labor Day for $290 total taxes and fees, MGM comped me a couple nights. Diablo's is a great restarant with good service and reasonable prices. The only downside of Luxor is its on the south end of the strip, but if you take the tram to Excalibur, you are close to NY NY and MGM Grand. The pyramid and the lobby is just so cool and iconic, it's a wonderful property.
Luxor was my home hotel when I used to stay on the strip, always stayed in a tower room, wasn't a fan of the buffet, loved Carrot Top, not a fan of Blue Man Group. What I liked best was the walkway to both the Mandalay Bay and the Excalibur, it's like staying in one huge resort. Great video Jay,
Stayed there over Thanksgiving holiday. The newer tower rooms are nice and roomy, slots are tight ass hell and the walk to the parking structure is a long ass journey. I like to sleep closest to the a.c. summer or winter hotel rooms get so hot.
You did not give that back stage deli enough love! We found them on our last day that We stayed at the Luxor last time and they’re open 24 hours a day and their food is fandamntastic! They are not that expensive. Their sandwiches are huge. Two people could go there and split one and be very satisfied. Try it out everybody it’s delicious and they don’t get enough love!!!!
This place used to be Poppin but now it sucks and it’s always dead.. also, the machines are very tight end tables are weak.. this is just me being straight up also considering that I’m a local here
I'm one of the old timers and do remember LAX night club. I believe we went there for one of my friends' bachelor party back in 2009! I've only stayed at The Luxor twice, can't say I'm a fan and will never stay there again. It needs a lot of renovations or just tore it down and build something new over it. The place is too old.
It open in 1993 and the tower rooms were added in 1998. Yes the place is old but the Pyramid Rooms were renovated in 2021 and it is bargain to stay in.
@@Bk6346 Thanks for the info pops, you just proved my point. I stayed at their renovated room and it's still look old to me. The place needs massive renovation or just tore it down and build a new resort.
@@Bk6346 $300 a night is nothing to me, I stayed at hotels that charges $700-1000/night. But I'm not a fan of The Cosmo, too many douchebags in that hotel.
I've hungout at Ri Ra before! I've never stayed at Luxor, but my sister has. 🙂 It's weird that the Luxor buffet is considered budget but the MyVegas BOGO coupon is 50K, as much as the Bellagio BOGO. 🤔 Great video! 😀
I'm shocked a blogger that prefers the pyramid to the tower rooms. Don't worry I prefer the pyramid just cuz it's right there where everything else is instead of a long walk to another building

I have stayed in the tower rooms and the pyramid. i prefer the pyramid. The one thing I miss is the animatronic camels that were on the walkway between there and Excalibur
I stayed in a tower room over Thanksgiving I liked it, never stayed in the pyramid but id be afraid it'd be loud from sounds from the casino. The monorail worked great to get closer to t mobile for a knights game
Never stayed there but for me Luxor is one of the best value hotels on the strip, the only real downside is it's location so you will need taxis or a lot of walking to see the mid and north strip as well as down town areas.
Luxor is the best it's across the street from the airport and the monterail is available to catch across the street at MGM...takes u to the other end of the strip
Am I an old timer if before LAX I used to party at the RA nightclub, which was the Luxor's themed nightclub? 🙄😁🥳 Hmmm then again Velvet room coulda been the RA 😁 First place I've ever stayed. Like it 👍

Nice video. Great info. Might stay there yet. What is the other tower called where you stayed before? Looks closer to the strip. Their buffet is terrible unless its changed. Thanks and take care.
I stayed at Luxlor since my Wife wanted to see AGT. The Hotel is showing it's age. I definitely wouldn't stay again. I'd rather spend the money on a higher end Hotel in the middle of the strip.
