Instagram - AdamTheWooATW I’m having fun with this series . Trying to mix up the price range and locations around the Disneyland park property with each video as best I can . Not all hotels around area are open yet so not sure how long series will go but as for now I’m enjoying showcasing them .
We always wonder about surrounding hotels interiors and quality when we visit DL. This will be quite helpful upon review for future visits. (I request handicapped rooms because of my wheelchair. Bigger rooms, bigger bathrooms!!)
That's right! As out of state university students, funds were always limited; we'd pool them for California trip, and stay where we could to go to Disney....lots of people can criticize, but as Woo said, if you're going to the park for the day....it makes sense
I have stayed in many of these types of hotels and motels over the last 40 years. Maybe this is a 2 or 2 1/2 star. Cleanliness was always questionable, especially the carpet. Brings back memories saving every dime to get the kids to Disneyland, kids sleeping on the floor, eating all our meals at Tiffy's, never in the park. LOL There use to be a whole street to small motels, maybe Katella ??? Man, do you appreciate a nice hotel when you can afford it!!! Life is good.
This series has been so fun and relaxing. It makes me want to go on vacation myself but these videos have been almost as good as being there in person. Almost.
Thank for doing this series on the different hotels and the prices. It’s been fun. That sign by the vending machine was funny. All the rooms are pretty neat looking. Loved the Donald Duck juice. Had never seen that before. Going to be glad when more places are able to reopen. Great job on the Disney trivia. Looking great. Keep on having fun. God bless you
Thanks for taking one for the team on this one. I would be traveling with some disinfecting wipes in my Mickey bag just to give the room a wipe down upon arrival . Thanks for all of the helpful info!😊
Thanks for the video Adam! That was the hotel I was going to stay at for Star Wars Celebration. Curse you 2020! I’m waiting for one of your endings to be done in the Ferris Bueller style. “You’re still here? It’s over, go home!”
Ya gotta try the Candy Cane Inn - That is our favorite hotel to stay at when we come every year. Thanks for sharing these hotel vids. Have a great day Adam!! It is so nice to see blue sky. We are in the smoky WA. State and it is horrible right here.
Loved the Candy Cane when the kids were small, esp for the great little wading pool as I recall. Walkable, but a little far for the end of the day, but they have a van too, or at least they did.
Wow!! Thank you so much for showing the different area hotels!! There have been so many changes and updates to them that I have no idea anymore what ones we would like, we used to sometimes stay at the Annabella when my daughter travelled for cheer competitions but I’ve heard it’s gone and they are putting a fancier one in place. Really looking forward to watching these videos and using them for reference when Disneyland opens again!! 😊💫
This is so amazing, Adam. Being from across the country and only having been to Disneyland once, I can't get over how barren it is. Of course, I know the reason, but you must be totally off balance since you're used to the mammoth crowds. Thanks for showing options, and good deals. You're really looking great, my friend. Eating healthy has certainly paid off.🤗🤠👏
Oh man Adam. You're bringing back a lot of memories for me working third shift at Disneyland years ago where I'd finish my shift at 3am and I'd meet with some of my fellow cast members at that specific Denny's. I'm starting to miss the people I worked with.
Adam. I really enjoy your hotel Staycation series. I live in the OC and an annual passholder too. I've been inside some of these hotel gift shops, lobby and coffee area when I did my own walk-exploring-tour down Harbor Blvd back in the pre-Covid days. I never stayed in them though. It was fun to see people's excitement and happy faces before they walked over to Disneyland. I miss those days. Keep up the good work.
Hi Adam, very awesome vlog at your staycation day four at the Anaheim Discovery Inn and Suites near Disneyland! Hope you enjoy your day! stay well and safe!
I am enjoying this. I hope to make a trip once Disneyland opens! This place might work since we just need to sleep. But who knows we might want to splurge a little. ; ). The comfortable bed is a must!
My husband and I, enjoy your adventures on you channel. We tried several of the food you showed during that series. Your weight loss is looking great! Congratulations on your health, your travels and the great content! All the best to you and yours!
Hi Adam - thanks for this series of hotels near Disneyland... I have stayed at Discovery Inn several times over the last few years - the family that runs it has always been great to me... It's an older place and doesn't have everything but I love the location.... the price includes parking....I believe they have coffee in the lobby 6 to 9am....
OMG!!! Donald Duck OJ ... haven’t had that in years!! It used to come in the frozen concentrate section of Publix. I miss it!! Now I’ll have to go looking for it again since it’s back.
When the parks open up, I’ll be interested in the views you get! You’re doing a lot of people a huge PSA. Even tho I’m just in Simi, I often stay down there and have checked out many different hotels. It’s nice to have the knowledge to pass along. You look abfab, Adam. Keep up the good work, body and channel.
Donald Duck OJ is made by the Florida's Natural Co-op in nearby Lake Wales, FL. (Does the box say anything about that?) Anyway, there once was a Donald statue over the front entrance, but he's gone now.
I have never actually seen Donald Duck orange juice in the carton (til now) only the bottles (orange, kiwi, fruit punch, grape) that they sell at Dollar tree
Huge thing in Catalina Island! They love that Donald Duck OJ so much there is little toys you can purchase with the OJ and if you collect all of them and show them to the cashier you get the special prize! :)
I'm happy to see that the budget hotels are also part of this. When I make my trips to Disneyland, I'm always worried about the properties that I've never been too. It's nice to see them without taking a $600/week chance on if they are worth staying at.
Double dose of the woo today, lucky me!! I just finished Best Life and Beyonds tortilla joes video with you in it, you are such a funny dude adam thanks for the awesome content. keep on doin what you love, we love it!
Thank you for doing this series. I really want to visit Disneyland in the future but don’t want to stay at the Disneyland Resorts because they are just too expensive for a family of 4.
Big fans of your channel. You got us saying there goes the monorailllllllllllll .... lol. We make stuff up like there goes dinggg dongggg mommmmy or dadddyyyyyyy lol
OMG! I stayed at this hotel my last Disneyland trip, it was SUPER convenient for Disneyland! StYed there a week for under $300! Granted, this was “out of season,” but very convenient nonetheless! The staff at this “mom & pop” hotel were very nice and accommodating! Very helpful with advise only locals would know! I quite enjoyed my stay!
Regardless this was a good deal. No parking fee.. Score i . its close to Disneyland. So after that long day at Park this is spot to chill. Nothing to fancy but it gets the job ✔ done
That's right I'm only spending minimum time in that room anyway basically sleeping showering and leaving... Rather spend my money at Disneyland!! But the Alamo next door is much nicer and more roomy for the price.. which is about the same
I stayed at this place last February just before Covid shut everything down, very good motel at a reasonable price, a little bit of a walk to Disneyland but well worth it. There is always the bus, Look forward to staying there again
Omgggg I 💖💖💖 Donald Duck orange juice so much!! It just tastes better than the other brands! I like seeing all the hotels around too super helpful to know what to expect😉
Love this series Adam. Thought you were very polite about such a poor place , what I would say is a Motel . Exactly the sort of dump Walt hated opening on Disneyland's door step
