@@Rooples hes not still at the porch, he transitioned to Harris Creek in Waco, Texas. He knew that this church had leaders to pass it on to and this other church needed someone to step in

46:20 it's not enough to say "i feel bad for you... it's a joke...it's tragic" shaming others for living a sinful lifestyle is not going lead them out of a sinful lifestyle. guilting them for their behavior won't work. more often than not, those who guilt and shame others do it from a place of guilt and shame themselves - something for David to keep in mind. This runs deeper than just hookup culture and guilt and shame will most likely push them to just fall deeper into it. it's not a lust issue. it's a heart issue. that's what needs to be addressed. it's more than just an acai bowl analogy could cover. it's a lack of intimacy with our creator that we are trying to make up with counterfeit encounters. more time needs to be spent talking about the goodness of our Father and how to build a relationship with him than talking about one's personal life. one sermon that covers this and explains it beautifully is "daddy issues" by Rich Wilkerson Jr. 30:17 covenant eyes does NOT work. again, it's not a lust issue. it's a heart issue. when your heart is in the right place, your eyes and mind will be also. covenant eyes merely brings accountability. Yes its a heart issue but bringing someone else into the situation knowing they'll see what you look at will immensely help. My heart has been yearning for christ for years but there are times when I am isolated and I have given in. Im an early christian and its something many men around my age (21) have been dealing with for the majority of their lives. its hardly ever something that just goes away over night.
