You guys seem like you get the bad luck when you visit Sunshine Coast. How much does that apartment cost per night?

Hahaha ALWAYS!! The price changes with peak season and days of visit but for our stay it was around $400 per night. Amazing value if you had 8 people staying there!!

My Aussie metalhead mate in Brisbane in whose he and his JP wife lived in Osaka for two years told me it has been raining a lot which have caused flooding there so stay safe all ye!! I haven't been to Australia since May,2007 so I hope I will be able to visit Australia as well as New Zealand. cheers

The Sunshine Coast is high on our list for the next visit to Australia. Caloundra is a real possibility.

Love that - we have retired on a top floor apartment in Mooloolaba, but I lived in Maroochydore as a boy and went to Montville State School too, as did my mum, 105 years ago. Now, have you done Hammo? We did a shared B&B at Hamilton Island with family and grand sons last month - magic - Sunsets over the channel from One Tree Hill is like an international meeting. And the golf buggy runabouts. Go do a video there. But the food on Sunny Coast is much much better. Maybe do a yacht charter instead - make sure to snorkel in Blue Pearl Bay and walk on Whitehaven Beach. You will love that. The fish are very friendly, they get very upset if you leave the water up the ladder to have an early cocktail. A Batt Fish bit our daughter's hair for leaving them at Black Island Reef. You’re a daredevil, love that highline hustle, I need to do that one as well! I’ll feed your cat and I’ll think of deleting your browser history. But I’m glad your survived 😉. 4 floors, all yours 😱! The bar on the balcony of floor 4 is perfect. And then floor 3 comes up, so spacious and luxurious. The bathroom at floor 2 is so big. I wish that was mine. Damn that place must be so expensive. Someone has big sunglasses haha 😎. Those Danish sweet cakes are so delicious, I miss them since I started eating gluten-free. Especially the cinnamon buns. Thanks for sharing, stay safe (I’m afraid we’ll sucked in a war-zone with Ukraine/Russia as we’re a NATO member). Have a wonderful week 🤙

My thoughts and prayers for everyone affected with the floods in Brisbane :( Does anyone know if it’s still okay to travel to Gold Coast then? Although based on the news I don’t seem hopeful

Hello! That's a tough one to answer - it depends on so many things. We get asked this a lot but, really, there are a lot of factors that go into it :) Gold Coast, Brisbane and Sunshine Coast are all fantastic spots to live and each has great suburbs to choose from!
