Agreed. Going on a cruise right now would be INSANE! This will take MONTHS to clear up. Just look at us in Europe, and we’re ahead of you guys in the US. And here everything will be closed down until at least May.

California just extended to May 1st, problem is cases are growing exponentially by day, so the cruise line will probably resume operations, but honestly You should reconsider

I’m beginning my third WEEK of isolation. I’m in a high risk group because I’m diabetic. I’ve got everything I need so I’m really fine. This is similar to when my car is in the shop. I have no where to go but the idea that I can’t drives me crazy. A cruise seems somewhat risky so I would postpone it. But that’s just me.

I love that you put the kids to bed early and they wake up early during non-school days! I do it too but my friends and family think it's silly and mean but it takes a huge toll on their schedule and it's so difficult for them to get back in their groove after messing with their sleep by letting them stay up super late! Good luck grading papers and keep on being a fellow optimist my friend!

I live in Victoria Australia. I once tried to order some Thai food from our local Thai restaurant. When I went to collect it, it wasn't ready. After about 5 mins of confusion, I realised that I had actually called a Thai restaurant in New Zealand with my order. I was so embarrassed as I called them back to apologise and explain that I couldn't pick up the order.

Per the Cutco website: For the safety of everyone who will handle your shipment, please package your knives carefully. Avoid using tape directly on the blades and handles. Cover the entire blade with cardboard. Cardboard from cereal boxes works well. Do NOT use padded envelopes. Place them in a cardboard box with extra packing material to keep them secure during shipping.

That's what I did, I wrapped my blades in cardboard from cereal box and packed them in a box with newspaper holding it in place. Worked good, they even replaced my shears and a few knives because I guess they were beyond repair, not sure, they looked fine - just dull.

I think they replaced all mine with new ones and they weren’t bad at all. So sharp I immediately cut myself the first time I used one- just like a paper cut! I am more careful now!

YES go make that appointment you need an xray of that tooth! It can cause an infection and get into your major blood stream! (used to be a dental assistant in an emergency dental office) They may also want you on antibiotics before root canal!

Call your dental office to see if they are taking emergency patients. I’m a dental assistant in WA state. Our governor mandated that all dental offices take emergency appointments only until May 18th. This is to keep all PPE (personal protective equipment) available for the hospitals. As stated before, they may want to put you in an antibiotic for now so things don’t get worse. Sorry you’re in pain☹️

Depending on what kind of tooth pain it is and where. When you push on your gums do you feel pain? If so is it when you apply pressure or when you release the gum? If it’s Your upper tooth then it is possible you may have swollen sinuses. I wouldn’t panic over a sore tooth..phone your dentist or the emergency dentist and explain your situation and your symptoms. Did you bite down hard on something? Did you eat popcorn...sometimes the cornel can get stuck in your gum and cause discomfort. Anyhow, good luck and I hope your tooth feels better soon. I would rinse with warm salt water to help and take ibuprofen for inflammation...if required...for pain.

I use old cereal boxes to make little cardboard sleeves and tape them over my knives to mail them in. Then fill the box with newspaper or bubble wrap and pack them tightly so they don't shift around.

Have you tried dry brushing? Several "fitness experts" swear by it. Basically, the idea is that cellulite is caused by lymph not circulating and getting stuck in the fascia layer. Dry brushing helps circulate lymph.

I don't know what the problem is with your tooth, but clove essential oil is great for tooth pain. I put a bit of olive oil on a cotton ball, then a few drops of clove, and held it to the area that was in pain and let it sit and reapplied as necessary. It was really helpful, I hope your issues aren't anything major.

If the pain is coming from between 2 teeth, put clove oil or orajel onto a dental floss pick and gently work it into the area.

I work for the postal service. You can mail the knives with no issue. Just say yes to the hazmat question. It doesn’t change anything price wise it just lets us know to be cautious. I would just try to wrap them so they won’t accidentally poke through the package during shipping. 😊

Christine, it's time to reschedule the cruise. Schools are going into "from home" for the rest of this year. For the knives, make them sleeves out of cardboard (food boxes like cereal, pasta etc... work for this) I was able to watch Dexter with no issues but I was very, very uncomfortable while listening to the cornea story! Ewwww ohhhh noooo... I really want to due Lazik but now I am rethinking this. Eye flaps? O M G

My parents owned some and they recommend shipping them in the every day case that you put them in after you use them and then in another box with security around them, like newspaper or bubble wrap.

Hi, Christine! As far as the cruise goes, I think I'd play it safe and stay home. A cruise ship is like a petri dish on a GOOD day. Right now it's too risky. As far as your knives, perhaps you could find some sturdy cardboard and make some sheaths to surround them. Then wrap in bubble wrap and send them off in a box.

Hey from southeast Tennessee 👋🏻. Today we start our “schooling at home”. 🤞🏻🤞🏻.I really like a routine,so I’m trying to figure out what our new one will be. I think it will help things flow better. She’s 12 and wants to stay on social media . That’s not going to happen lol. We live in the country and have a big yard so she can go outside and get exercise.I’m just rambling. I really enjoy cooking and yesterday (Sunday) was week 1 in quarantine and I’ve cooked 3 meals a day ,everyday and getting over it a litttle 🤷🏻‍♀️lol. But I’m staying positive definitely

Bubbles? You can just use dishwashing soap, water, and some sugar( you can use something else but I cant remember and sugar will help the bubbles last longer). No bubblewrap use leftover cardboard making small boxes around the blades and tape then maybe some bubble wrap.

My opinion....on the tooth pain...I would get it looked at sooner rather than later. We here in Ontario Canada were also told April 6th kids will go back...today we were told the school year is suspended until the covid-19 is under control and no longer a pandemic. I love your optimism and we all need to stay positive.... But we in Canada were also told this will go on for at least 3 more months... Keep the faith, and just keep doing what you're doing. By the by...as for the knives... Wrap each blade with cardboard make like a knife sheath with thick cardboard.

My coworkers in China were on lockdown for 11 weeks. Unfortunately with the response in the US we are going to be in this for the long haul in a lot of places. I hope for the best too but prepare for the worst. Take care and be safe!

I hate to think this, but your cruise might just be canceled. My daughter's college graduation has been postponed indefinitely. It was originally scheduled for May 8th or 9th. How to ship your knives: Make sure that they are secured within the box (would recommend a box and not a soft sided package. You might want to tape each knife to a piece of cardboard. A sheath is recommended. You could fold a piece of cardboard over each knife and tape it. Don't leave anything to chance to wiggle around and poke through the box, and you're good to go.

Your local cutco rep will mail them for you most of the time, otherwise cardboard the blades like the ones they come with, wrap in bubble wrap, put those in a box with extra filling so they don’t bang around.

Wrap you knifes in creek box cardboard. Each knife individually. Then put them all in to a bubble wrap envelope and ship.

We are now not allowed to leave home except to shop for food or medicine. If you can work from home you have to. Only shops which sell food or medication are allowed to open. Our schools are closed indefinitely, all exams are cancelled. All celebrations are cancel only funerals are allowed. It’s scaring me now there are 3 in my household but I’ve asked my daughter and 2 grandsons to come and stay. Stay safe Christine and family and god bless xx ps in in Glasgow in the uk x

We were planning our vacation in May to be a cruise, but even if they are back in business that's still WAY too soon for me! So I've booked a beach condo on the Atlantic coast instead. At least that way we can avoid people and crowded places and still enjoy an ocean view.

To ship knives, cardboard slips taped around the blades are a great idea. Some people also advise taping the cardboard slips to the handles as well

My library closed due to the virus. And I'm not in a big town at all. You should watch the first season of Dexter, it will get you hooked! I was sad when it ended, and I had to drop out of EMT classes when they got to the blood and guts.....yeah what was I thinking, lol And my favorite show of all time is the Walking Dead, and I thought zombie shows were stupid but watched this one when my husband did and I'm hooked, obsessed! I can quote the show. Say their lines before they do and it drives my husband crazy! I've seen it start to finished about 10 times a year since it began. I binge watch it on Netflix. Yes I have no life, lol.

Hahaha. I got LASIK around the same time, but it took SO LONG for them to get to me (sheep order) that I was starting to nod off. They saw that I was getting sleepy and chucked me (arm first) to the front of the line, and I was awake for the whole thing cause of the adrenaline! But they didn't sharpie my eyeballs, and they didn't cut anything? It was all lay-zors. But I had mine done in Australia. SO who knows. Thanks for sharing your stories lady.

Speedy is just the cutest dog!! If it were me, I would NOT take the cruise. Even if they supposedly sanitize the boat, you can't guarantee that the folks who do the sanitizing are actually giving a hoot about doing it thoroughly.

I have made a sheath for a knife that I put in my drawer out of corrugated cardboard, like an Amazon box or any corrugated box. Just cut a piece out of the box to cover the blade and carefully slide the knife in through the layers. Carefully!! It worked for me and keeps the blade in there securely. Hope it helps

wrap in newspaper and then take something like poster board or a cereal box and make covers for each knife and tape them shut.Then pack in more newspaper or some thick foam sheets if you have it. Basically anything that will cover the sharp edges and then that will stop them from moving at all. I would not mark them until you go to the post office and see if they want you to do so, because I think they don't want you to but not positive.

Definitely go to the dentist right away. Waiting just makes it not only worse, but also more expensive. And that we don’t want. And no, the cruise definitely won’t happen. This Corona thing will take several months. The US is way behind Europe and ever we won’t open until May at the earliest.

Korea's been dealing with the pandemic since the end of February and still not out of the danger zone. European countries been in lockdown for weeks and expect to continue on for several more weeks to come. Given the rate of how fast the virus is spreading, if you trip is in Mid-April ...
