In fairness to Doug's insecurity, Brendan is a more fiercely masculine presence, aggressive to the point of dangerous. To some that animalistic quality is sexy and following behind it is reasonably intimidating. Moreover, didn't Brendan run off Ste's last piece that cute black guy, so there is precedent for worry. Dennis and Reese, that's their names. I likes them!
