Demand will be high and set the price at the top to start with, cadillac insurance companies will start to cover it and the price will go higher, so ordinary people will have to wait for the knockoffs.

I think Garrett is one of those unsung heroes in several fields. He’s one of the Philadelphians, that I’ve looked up to the most in my life as a voice actor, for those great Molson Golden commercials that he used to do in the 70’s, and for of course the invention of the steady cam. I still love hearing his voice.

Pretty cool. I’m a year past knee injury, 3 weeks post surgery. I have used up my thrift store rollator using it to walk my trash down the gravel driveway. Now using what I call my “bigwheels”. It’s heavier and harder to get into the car by myself, but except for the surgery, I am still independent. I want a mobility device with wheels that will handle gravel, grass, sand. (I’m not complaining, just suggesting that currently available options have limits, including pricing. And before someone goes off on cost to taxpayers, I was not allowed to skip Medicare. Anyone else see how ‘caring for our elderly’ turned into ‘government control of healthcare options’????

What I find about this that is fascinating is just how *smooth* it is, how quick it is, how little care he seems to move with it. It seems.. sturdy, while just absolutely *maximizing* the amount of movement from force used.

Very very cool. I hope this gets manufactured soon. I'm 65 I'm in great health but who knows what can happen down the road and it would be great to have this type of mobility device instead of the regular motorized wheelchair or old fashioned one.

Wow love it. I do have a couple of questions though. What if the person falls forward? Will their weight cause them to topple the chair on top of them especially if they are heavier than the chair. Secondly, can it come with bigger wheels for more outdoor walking?

I love movies where you can actually see what's going on but the sad thing is, for decades now Hollywood has been making a mockery out of the Steadicam idea with all the stupidly annoying handheld shakycam nonsense that gives you a headache. I want a return to real filmmaking, not that ugly drab garbage they call movies today. 🎥

😨Fear of falling backwards is an awful feeling! Something like this is unbelievable to severe neuropathy patients who used to be in perfect health and strength and now can't walk and suffer the consequences for not being upright! Just to stand anymore when you are 6' tall is something to behold! Grabbing poles for a few minutes is not the same. I would love to try one of these!

After helping both my parents with walkers and wheelchairs the options offered in this wheelchair is awesome. My only question is the swift swivel might disorient some elderly people and challenge their coordination too much.
