That’s tougher as it’s all formatted in the device language. If you export and then import into a new device you shouldn’t need to change anything. If your building a new gps mark file use my method and just update your gps and it won’t overwrite existing

OK thank you. I am really curious why a decimal point is not required after the first 2 x digits for latitude (S) and after the first 3 x digits for longitude (E). Instead, there are spaces. Can you possibly advise why this is so?

Hi. I have started my own GPS mark database with excel and manually copied latitude (S) and longitude (E) marks into Excel (into separate columns). But, I have not inserted "S" and "e" and "." into their respective positions for each value (100 x marks). Is there a method in excel (like what you have shown in notepad ++) to quickly insert these characters into each cell? Cameron

You would need to concatenate in excel. Do a google search on that mate it’s pretty easy

hi there. I have followed your video to the exact detail. The GPS Visualizer cannot convert my file because it states the wrong web browser was used. Can you please advise me what web browser you used when you generated this video? Cameron
