@@sereneamani1713 The case was about if she stole his employment check which she probably did, not about if the plaintiff is lazy and likes to play video games. The judge has granted judgements with less proof and was set on making the plaintiff loose right at the beginning.

I agree but he had to prove it. For all JM knows, that account it was deposited into could have been his account. His laziness did him in because how are you going to let her file an unemployment claim and not follow up with her about it? Or at minimum log into their website to see what's going on. He also could have called unemployment if he didn't have the password to log in and told them to send him a check instead of a deposit from here on out. Some states will even send you a prepaid debit card that they manage if receiving a check isn't an option. This dude was beyond pitiful and lazy and I see why the judgment went against him.

No he couldn't prove his case. The police couldn't prove that she stole the money. If she was arrested or charged for fraud then he would of won. If the police couldn't prove it then by law the judge doesn't have to believe it .

JM did give him a chance to explain and looked at his evidence. What more did he need to hear or see? The man had nothing connecting the defendant to what he was accusing her of other than he asked her to set it up. It could have been an error on the unemployment office’s end but he didn’t do his due diligence to figure it out fully and just assumed it was her without gathering enough evidence.

Often one has to pay for ignorance of important matters and lack of due diligence. These two are both train wrecks that ran into each other.

@@Proverbspsalms I didnt know 400K was involved, you alot more background on them than what was aired because that wasnt mentioned in the video. JM detailed the case, which is why I empathized lazy. He stated he "he worked a couple temp jobs within 5 years here and there" and he said he also stopped attending "a class" because it was canceled. Then when JM started asking him more questions about it, he finally said "I was just being lazy sir." We have to stop giving passes for this behavior. Based on the case she proved her burden of proof civil and criminally.

@@acobb8136 oh the only reason I have any background is because someone else mentioned that she was not a convicted felon. So I looked it up. This happened in 2016 and something maybe in 2019. I know she has at least two mugshots. Neither had anything to do with this case.
