Okay now everyone repeat after me: we hold every gun company to this standard. Hi capacity 1911's must take a common mag or we dont buy from them. Lets make sure that this is the way forward.
Something I’ve wondered about when it came to these pistols is if holding it in your hand felt any different from a regular 1911, or if the grip felt more like you were holding a Glock. I’ve shot Glock pistols before and have always enjoyed the way they feel, but there’s something specific about the way that 1911’s in general feel in the hand that seems to make it easier for me to hold the actual gun itself, if that makes any sense. Holding the grip on a traditional 1911 seems to feel like I have a tighter grasp on the gun compared to a Glock grip, so it’d be interesting to see how different it feels to lock in and see how it performs in comparison.
Damn, thing of beauty. Ordered mine and can’t wait to receive it in a couple weeks. How do you like? Which trigger setup did you go with? Congrats on the purchase!
I agree beautiful gun put the stupidest name they could have came up with, they were not thinking and if they were I would take it back to the drawing board change name to something cool😅
How do these run I've heard good things and bad things and is there uneven ware on the slides I heard that's another issue I really want to get one of these but just heard a couple bad things and for the money you spend on one I want to make sure it's's gonna be basically perfect
So far so good. No malfunctions and the paint job is holding up. I have well over 1K through it now. Im going to do a review, I just wanted to run it for while before I did.
Just some random plates from eBay www.ebay.com/itm/114356926318?mkcid=16&mkevt=1&mkrid=711-127632-2357-0&ssspo=GJS5dqTJTuG&sssrc=4429486&ssuid=TS86wO0MRJC&var=&widget_ver=artemis&media=COPY
I know it takes Glock 17 mags… but here’s the stupid question. I’ve seen several mag 17s online and some say gen 3, gen xx, etc. does the platypus take a specific gen or all gens are basically the same?
I Been Sweating A Platypus🔫! 🤔But Why Buy One If You Already Got A Glock 17 ? The Way I Look At It Is The Platypus Has A Hammer & A Safety, The Glock 17🔫 Don't 🤪 Laying All BS💩 Aside I'd Love❤️ To Have A Platypus 🔫Too!
The Glock 17 is nowhere near the level of a 2011. The best glock trigger ever made isn't as good as a mediocre 2011 trigger. Comparing a safety on a 2011 to a glock is a joke.
