That tends to be my strategy "If I can't defend against MIRVs than neither can anyone else" Keep enough navy or anti-ship missiles to protect my coasts and planes to protect my skies and invest everything else into silos with MIRVs.

Nice video. Also, if you have to target any defenses, for the "over the horizon" system. Without that SAMs have much less range and effectiveness. Also the reason why its good to have them. Hope to see more of this series. Maybe with some false flag attacks with subs from the same direction as another player.
There are some mods like Omnicide to spice up the regular gameplay by adding new(and deadlier) WMDs. There's also a map that's just the Ace Combat world.

Good early defense is how I typically play most games because if they spent all their shit making weapons that can't HURT ME then what few weapons I have to hit them with will hurt so, SO much more.
The one thing I know about this game is that Tactical nukes are useless against cities, but IMMENSELY useful for bringing down beefier targets (like say, ship fleets or heavy defenses). Send the biggest bombs you can reliably hit with to smash cities, that's why some people are scoring higher than others. Using conventional or small nukes on cities takes FOREVER to kill them, and breaking cities = more points. Submarines are a great uno reverse card for people if they blow up a lot of your land based delivery platforms though.

I prefert to stack some 150 missiles and release them in one deadly strike. i played it with friends a few days agao and everyone did it that way. After 10 minutes of nuclear warfare the game was over because everyone deployed 10MT and 50MT Bombs and Nukes^^
