This one’s for the bush lovers 🌳 I headed out to a local bush for a cheeky stealth camp and also managed to cook up burgers on the Bushbox XL, completely unnoticed, yay! Thank you to Trekology for sending me their Aluft UL140 sleeping mat to try - I really loved it, very comfortable and will deffo be using again (along with my Aluft pillow which is my current fav!). Really enjoyed using my DD Travel Hammock Bivi as a bivi - felt like I was truly out in nature without the risk of getting eaten alive by various insects. It’s a win for me :D
Fire safety - There were lots of open spaces and plenty of ventilation here - goes without saying but don’t create any kind of fire in a truly enclosed space. The ground and surroundings were also damp as it had been raining, but if you’re in dry conditions, only have a fire a good distance from vegetation, grass or wood. Using a foil tray under your Bushbox can help to protect any grass from catching alight and further protect the ground.
