These clips all come from Ton Pruissen's latest DVD 'Steam in Holland 1931-1957' which shows a wide variety of classes running on Dutch State Railways (the NS). The bulk of the film shows scenes before the Second World War, at various locations around the centre of Holland; most of these were filmed by H.J. Stratton Ward, a one time President of the RCTS.
The post-war scenes show all the types of locomotives imported by the Dutch from Switzerland, Sweden, and the UK (Austerity 2-8-0s and 2-10-0s) as well as NS locomotives that had survived the war.
