The National Museum of the Royal Navy's Steam Pinnace arriving at the Southampton Boat Show on Friday 17th September 2010. Dating from 1911, the Pinnace is the sole surviving working example of its type. It is manned by a volunteer crew and regularly attends events on the south coast of England.
The National Museum of the Royal Navy is located in Portsmouth Historic Dockyard. It was founded in 2008 with the aim to be the world's most respected Naval museum, underpinned by a spirit of enterprise and adventure.
