Steam Trains on the Beech Hurst Park Miniature Railway 21May17 

Some absolutely perfection in driving and firing there on the LBSCR K class.

I always admired the skill and dedication of the folks that built and maintained the engines and this great little line. I grew up in HH, the other side of Cat's Wood and can remember when the track just went in front of the workshop, before it was extended. Does than make me a 'hipster', or just old?

I can remember john seamore building this loco ,must of been late 70s. At c.i.b.a in horsham.

Is this the track where Bill Carter used to run his magnificent GN Atlantic?

Are any of the trains real electric ie current picked up from the track? I saw cables connected to it and bonding across track joints but not sure if this is for signalling sections or traction current? If so what is the traction voltage?
