Some views (and rides) round the lovely miniature railway, in Haywards Heath, Sussex. Real steam trains so both big kids and the little kids will love it.
I always admired the skill and dedication of the folks that built and maintained the engines and this great little line. I grew up in HH, the other side of Cat's Wood and can remember when the track just went in front of the workshop, before it was extended. Does than make me a 'hipster', or just old?
Are any of the trains real electric ie current picked up from the track? I saw cables connected to it and bonding across track joints but not sure if this is for signalling sections or traction current? If so what is the traction voltage?
