I deeply enjoy how the structure of this edit means Skinner set his house on fire 5 days in a row. This man clearly can't be trusted in the kitchen unsupervised.
@@stephensnell5707 I think hamburgers last like a week in the fridge, right? Still, must be annoying, Skinner gets them out of the fridge and reheats them, again. And then Chalmers waddles away, again. Like, dude, I'd be upset.
Gotta love how this unintentionally gives us the explanation for why Chalmers always leaves so nonchalantly despite very clearly seeing that the house is on fire. He just knows that it is the usual everyday stuff at Skinner's.
"but they're cold and they're fresh and they're all homemade, can I get you a glass?" and the duck said "what? steamed hams are not meant to be cold and they're definitely not meant to be served in glasses" "is that a yes?" The duck said "no." EDIT: fixed an incredibly dumb typo
I have been sucked into the Steamed Hams wormhole for the past 2 weeks, but this is quite possibly my favorite It delivers in every way you could possibly expect; major props.
I love how Gary and Seymour seemingly scheduled multiple unforgettable luncheons back to back and for each one Gary would leave as it was just getting started, also since whenever Gary arrives the house isn’t on fire but whenever he leaves the house is on fire we can conclude that there is a different fire on each day.
A Superintendent walked up to an old woman's house And he said to the principal, running the house, "Hey" bom bom bom, "Got any steamed clams"? The principal said "No, we only have steamed hams, it's an old family recipe, I'm sure you'll be a fan, Care to join me for your fill?" The Superintendent said "They're obviously grilled."
The principal stuttered, he coughed and he sneezed He stood up and he left, he started to wheeze "I think we're done sir," The principal said "You steam a good ham," praised the Superintendent.
This. Everything about this is so good. I love it. My favorite part is the narrator breaking character at 2:15, I'm sure it was probably accidental but it makes it so much funnier
This is absolutely the best Steamed Hams I've ever seen. I love the duck song, I've listened to it countless times. I would have never expected to see such a crossover. If you kept the music even during the dialogues, that would have been perfect!
i love how Superintendent Chalmers is invading Seymour's house and getting mad at him and asking questions, so Seymour has to improvise each day to keep Chalmers from firing him
I just realized, the duck wanting grapes at a lemonade stand is a con! The man goes with the duck to get grapes at the store, and the duck's accomplice robs the stand! Devilishly delightful Seymour.
This explains why Skinner is so unconcerned about his house being on fire at the end of Steamed Hams. Apparently that's a normal occurrence that happens every day, and it's always miraculously extinguished by the next day. His mother is senile and forgets every time, and he knew Chalmers wouldn't believe him if he told him the truth, so he had to come up with the aurora borealis explanation.
Skinner must be really patient to be willing to keep inviting Chalmers over for lunch in spite of his habit of leaving every time he's annoyed by what's going on, whether it's calling hamburgers "steamed hams" or claiming the Aurora Borealis is in the kitchen.
I have a theory this video was inspired by the part in the original Steamed Hams when Chalmers walks away like at 0:21 it looks like he's _waddling away_
I didn't know I needed this in my life. I feel like my life has purpose now. 2:37 this bit made me laugh out louder than I think I have in a long time.
I like the idea that chalmers goes away for an entire day and during that time Skinner does not deal with the oven so the house doesn't catch on fire but instead buys hamburgers.
Reasons for the duck waddling away: 1. Refused to have an unforgettable luncheon. 2. Didn't want steamed clams. 3. Hates it when people call hamburgers steamed hams. 4. The steamed hams were grilled. 5. Was refused access to aurora borealis and was offered a grape.
