"Oh no, is this going to be another one of those lifeless AI videos?" When I clicked and heard your amazing Homer impression, I was delighted! Excellently done!
This really proves how every character has there own mannerisms, some of the lines don’t really fit with homers voice and mannerisms because of how the other characters speak and act. Amazing vid
@@LenUchiha_anglejr758 Eh, he sounded uncharacteristically smart in that episode, whereas in this video it sounds like Homer reading a script for a part in a play.
Dude, I thought it was Castellaneta himself rudubbing the entire "Steamed Hams" short as Homer! That impression is SO damn on-point to Dan Castellaneta! 😍😍😍
I considered it, but was aiming to time the voice acting to the original animation to help "sell" it. Problem with that emote is it's much slower to do properly than the clip of Skinner's reaction and doesn't match his expression. I do it a bunch in my VRChat videos though :-), thanks for the comment!
This is incredible. Getting the voice ie pitch and throat position is one thing, but the vocal mannerisms and the "How Homer would say this" emphasis is nailed, glued and locked down HARD!
It's nearly perfect, and the nits I'm picking are REALLY small, but 0:15 is a little weird, nothing I've heard in a Simpsons before. And at 1:44 I would have gone with Homer's "HEH-he-heh" laugh (which we heard at 0:27) But again, that's me being the Russian judge here. This was wonderful, and I can't imagine anyone else sounding this close to Castellanetta. Fantastic!
I legit thought this was Homer's actual voice actor before I saw a RU-vid link. You could definitely replace the guy if something ever happened to need it.
@Backwardslongjump64 Uh- Homer Simpson?! At this time of year, at this time of day, at this part of the internet, localized entirely within this channel?
I considered it, but it wouldn't fit the speed, emotion or energy of the animation behind it in that moment. If you'd like to hear me speak more off-the-cuff as Homer, including the occasional "mmm", check out my VRChat videos!
Big hole in time travel theory because Homer refers to him as "dad"....unless he's his own father....which is feasible. I mean, Phillip J Fry was his own grandpa in Futurama.
Hey folks! Please check out my recent on-camera Homer video! ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-ipnLvyQTuGo.html I also have more singing videos of Homer doing actual song covers and a few VRChat videos where I speak off-script to random people if you'd like to see more!
2:04 *Bruh he forgot the "of course" a crucial plot to the entire arc omg smh* I figure it's the normal dialog and that's why it is so quiet. Either way, if I'm mistaken and it is still voiced over, it's too quiet either way.
Dude, your impression is spot on! Wouldn't have known it was a fandub if you didn't put it in the description! 😂 Also, *_THIS MEME WILL NEVER DIEEEE!!!_*
I mean...this is goooooooood, buuuuuut... Can you do Troy McClure? You may remember him from such films as "Gladys the Groovy Mule" and "Today We Kill, Tomorrow We Die".
I'm mostly practiced in Dan's characters on the show when it comes to just The Simpsons. Homer, Quimby, Grampa, etc. I'm not comfortable enough with Phil Hartman's characters to claim anything as of yet. Though I do have a semi-parody of his cheesy interview voice that he bases Troy on.
Many people have tried to do a Homer impression, and they've all failed miserably. Except you. Most impressions barely sound like Homer at all, but you could easily trick people into thinking Dan Castellaneta had recorded this. EDIT: Now I've watched the whole video, I can honestly say this is probably the most accurate impression I've ever heard. Not only is the voice exactly right, but so is the cadence. I can't get over the 'May I see it?' at 2:28, and even the singing is accurate!
Ah! Thank you! I have more singing videos of Homer doing actual song covers and a few VRChat videos where I speak off-script to random people if you'd like to see more!
This and the one with every scene being in different animation styles are my two favorite versions of this meme on quality alone. My god, this impression is terrifyingly good.
