That's funny that the response to "may I see it?" was still "no!" even though this time he wasn't lying and the thing Chalmers asked to see was the un-ruined roast that Skinner really did have.
He probably didn't want to open the oven before the roast was perfect. Also he wanted to surprise Chalmers with that quality roast, which he did judging by the "Good Lord What a Ham!" Reaction.
After seeing so many edits where things go progressively more and more off the rails, it's refreshing to see one where it goes better than the original.
This is like getting to see Charlie Brown kick the foot ball, or Wile E. Coyote catch the roadrunner. Now someone has to edit an episode of Family Guy where they love and appreciate Meg.
1. Seymour was stuttering just from his usual general awkwardness, in-character 2. It's a... Regional dialect. Chalmers meant "steam" colloquially as "cooked".

This raises a weird plot inconsistency in steamed hams. Skinner is preparing an unforgettable luncheon, however he is only cooking ham by itself. Surely he would have some vegetables boiling too, or at least a salad or something?
This feels like the beginning of this trope where the protagonist goes back in time to change a minuscule thing only to come back to a dystopian future where everyone is miserable except for himself and for the sake of everyone he sacrifices himself by going back again and restoring the original timeline where everything went wrong for him but at least the world is saved.
