I’ve seen hundreds of Steamed Hams edits over the last 5 years, I’ve saved dozens of them but this might be the most DENSE one. It’s sooo full of references and editing it’s insane.

Steamed hams memes as outlandish and creative as this one typically tend to be lacking in the execution department, due to the severely limited amount of material to work with, but this video is so well crafted that you don't get that sense at all! This video is a lot like how our most beloved shows would approach an idea like this.

I especially liked the first song during the time travel montage; the doorbell going off while they were eating, the whole interaction was so natural; and the gasping after Chalmers said the wrong thing. This one is really up there as far as these edits go imo.

Funny thing is, going back in time to prevent the roast from being ruined _would_ create a grandfather paradox, since that means Skinner would never have had the idea to do so in the first place, meaning the ham does get ruined, etc. Basically, you can't go back in time and remove your reason for going back in time. Put another way, you can't use time travel to retroactively solve problems, at least for the most part.

Principal Seymour Skinner steals the Time Machine from Squidward Tentacles 🦑 and went back in time to get some steamed hamburgers.
