Excerpt from a beautifully struck and thoroughly enjoyable quarter peal of Stedman Triples on this classic Somerset 8. The bells were cast in 1920 by Taylor's and are a fantastic ring, which many would argue are better than Chewton Mendip (likewise many would argue the other way!!) - these, however, are let down somewhat by the tower (whereas Chewton's, conversely, brings them out,) but are still a very fine octave.
The band settled right into these and I was delighted with the way this rolled round - a shame it came round so soon but thoroughly enjoyable nonetheless!!
