I feel the same as you do. As most video on youtube claim change the spring will make the clutch more linear or so on. When I remove the spring part, I try the clutch without it, the force on the second half of releasing is basically same as with the spring. So I think changing a spring won't make much differences. The force that kick the clutch back must from some other component not this spring
Just ordered the steeda spring a couple of days ago and waiting on it. Watched your video and hoped that you would bring some good news on it. I feel the stock spring makes the clutch very springy from the floor up when releasing but at the very end (clutch pedal almost fully released) the pedal seems to go dead and I find when speed shifting my foot comes off the pedal before it fully reaches the top. The clutch and spring itself don't feel linear through the stroke upon pedal release. I'm hoping I see even a slight difference after installing mine. Thanks for the video tho!
it’s not gonna change anything the clutch is stiff the only change you’ll notice is when dis-engaging your clutch the oem one feels like heavy I just replace mine with $1.29 spring 11/16 hilman #47 works like a champ 19$ steeda is not worth it.😂
Cosmin Dinca i would say yes, after driving with it for a few months now i can feel it a little heavier to push buy its one nice motion. when i would push the pedal with the old spring it felt like it would hesitate.
Thanks! So the pedal is stiffer than stock, not lighter. Mine is a diesel, pedal feel is stiff but anyway hard to modulate in stop & go traffic, grabbing point is "sudden" and abrupt. Thought this spring mood might help
