12 July 1943. Seven Pz. IV Ausf. H tanks of 6th company, II Battalion, SS Panzer Regiment 1, 1st SS Leibstandarte Division, under Oberstrumführer Rudolf von Ribbentrop are resting behind Hill 252.2 just south of Prokhorovka. 2nd SS Panzergrenadier Regiment's III Battalion is guarding the crest of the hill. Two other companies of Pz. IVs are also nearby, resting after the successful advance of the Division.
Unbeknownst to the SS troops, however, is the coming avalanche of tanks and troops of Soviet 29th Tank Corps' 31st and 32nd Tank Brigades and 53rd Motorized Rifle Brigade attempting to stop the German advance, and crush the main thrust of Operation Citadel's southern pincer movement.
I adjusted the tank attack and still forgot the aircraft addition!!! This mission features a multi-layered attack by the Soviets. After playing this many times and losing, I finally win the battle!!
