Rusty is basically a fully realised form of Joshua O'brien/White Glint from AC4, an on again off again enemy and best friend who you end up coming to blows with at the end, despite neither of you really wanting to kill one another. Steel Haze is going to have just as much, if not more prestige than White Glint and Nine Ball when it comes to Armored Cores, no contest.

Love how the second AC Rusty uses is probably a reference to Joshua's second NEXT from AC4, that being called the 00-ARETHA in AC4. In AC6 Rusty has the Steel Haze ORTUS AC, using the 00-ALBA Parts.

I really wish they made this fight WAY harder, like IBIS hard. Especially lore wise when you think about what happened here: Rubicon's single most profitable corporation, BAWS, gave every cent of their profits to the Elcano foundry just so they could develop and build one single unit of Steel Haze Ortus, it was THAT advanced and high tech. Although I adore this fight cinematically and for what it stood for in the story, I think they should've upped the difficulty just to nail it home: you're fighting against the greatest AC ever developed being piloted by one of Rubicon's most talented pilots. Just my take though.
Alba frame parts is supposed to be the next gen AC but stats wise it's just....this weird slower nachtreiher but with more defense. i wouldn't mind if they just make Rusty's Alba 20 percent more powerful stats wise in all aspects
Accurate. Because correct me if I'm wrong but doesn't this ending mean you suicide bomb the coral and blow up the entire planet with everyone on it? What kind of complete psychopath would actually choose this ending except for 100% completion of the game?
My understanding of this ending is that they're choosing to burn the coral now because if left unchecked the coral will propagate endlessly until it engulfs all of known space. This is an issue because organic life seems to have a tenuous relationship with coral at best judging from how it affects Raven (and the PCA goons who get caught in it) in the mission where you have to escape from it underground, to say nothing of what might happen if the Fires of Raven happened at a scale large enough to scorch an entire galaxy, or even the universe. The ending *is* undeniably bittersweet but Walter wasn't trying to start another Fires of Ibis out of spite or a negative emotion - he genuinely believed coral poses a threat to all life and better to contain it here and now than to see the fires spread to a galactic theater. As far as moral judgements go on the matter that's where things definitely get difficult and creep into grey territory. How much of the coral is sentient? Is it all just one big sentient mass? It's unclear. But even if you knew and were prepared to accept that, the Fires of Raven will undoubtedly kill millions of non-coral individuals as well. It's a tough morally ambiguous question, but I wouldn't call this ending psychopathic.
@@DGneoseeker1Ain't gonna pretend it's the good ending, but keep in mind the ending is Walter's legacy. Walter's father did horrific experiments with the Coral, the Coral can power insanely destructive weapons like the Sea Spider and Ice Worm, and its very existence is what's fueling the war on Rubicon. "Where there's Coral, there's blood," extended to all of human civilization. That's ignoring a potential galaxy wide Coral fire, and who knows what the implications of Coral collapse are. Walter's calculation is to sacrifice millions on Rubicon to prevent the suffering and death Coral would inevitably bring (in his eyes) to the whole of humanity.
Man I can’t wait for the next banger. Armored Core 7 is going to be amazing I just know it. With the addition of coral as a new energy source alongside merging with humanity, it’s skies the limit to where this game franchise is going to take us. I reckon it’s going to be one hell of a wild ride with where this game left off with its deep story. Armored Cores are entering into the super robot era with the addition of coral which is going to make for some interesting gameplay improvements like coral tuning, more intense combat, new tactics like stealth, hacking and whole bunch of other stuff. ALLMIND was already on a mission of making ACs that function like they’re an extension of the human body. It’s gonna be Dragon Ball Armored Core lol.
No matter which of these two endings i picked be it Ayer, Rusty, or Walter it was bitter. I havent finished yet but I hope I can truly finish things with NG++. Allmind best be ready to catch these fucking hands.

You get most of them after the mission, although the Trueno missiles he uses, you can only unlock after chapter 2 NG++. They have poor tracking, but are Lightning fast, and are phenomenal for building ACS strain. Other than that, he uses a bullet orbit, and the Viento needle gun. Stuff that you can unlock either later in the game, or in NG+
@theskipper7305 Heya friend The super sick gundam parts are indeed very lightweight, fairly low load. It performs extremely well in highly evasive builds that make good use of all 3 axis of movement, the armor even mentions its specialization for aerial combat in its description. I sometimes find myself having to swap in a different set of legs to be able to carry some stuff with enough oomph though that is personal preference. The load limit is capable of loading a decently heavy weapon (upper mid-tier weight works best) but youll probably have to pick your big gun then adjust the other slots to be able to fit it, if that is your style. This armor set is perfectly capable of beating the final boss of this end path.
Terminal Armor activates on its own if you have it installed after unlocking it in your OS Tuning menu. Just equip it like you would with assault armor. Terminal armor is a passive, you cant activate it manually, it will activate once when your AP is down to 1 for one time
Honestly I went in blindly in the first play through cause I had trouble trusting anyone to the point I killed off an entire planet just to put an end to the suffering 😅 (still felt heartbroken after doing that cause of Ayre and Rusty 🥲)
