Separate base plate is not needed in prefab structures, already a plate is welded to the Coloumn ..

Very informative. Thanks for showing the X braces. If I'm not mistaken they are the only diagonal structural member supporting loads in the Z dimension. Am I right about this?

Why was cross-braces used only between one section of the steel framework..??

Hello Shane! Usually our buildings need cross-braces in 1 every 4 sections, but if the building is subject to very strong winds, we can add cross-braces in every sections. Best regards

Il faut faire un calcul de structure complet dont le résultat dépendra de vos contraintes climatiques, de la pente de votre toiture, de la masse de celle-ci... En fonction de ces paramètres, vous choisirez les pannes adaptées et l'entraxe entre celles-ci.
