RMC was like "Midcourse brakes? Brakes, brakes, brakes. Ohhhhh that portion of the track where it's supposed to slow down the train before going into the second half of the coaster hahahaha, yeah....yeah those were just put in for decoration purposes. Ya know, add a little flare. They have absolutely no purpose".
Hey dude, I was wondering whether I could use some of these shots in a video of mine titled 'What is: Steel Vengeance'. I'll be sure to credit you both in the video itself, and the description. Thanks and I hope to hear form you soon :)
I just did the back seat of steel vengeance! Omg it was awesome! Better than my first ride a year ago...Eltoro Ryan is such a cool dude and it shows here and in his presentations. Great work man!
When I was a kid, the Mean Streak scared the crap out of me. It looked gigantic and daunting. Now, I'm older and the structure is beautiful. They did a great update to a beautiful coaster. I have so many great memories from this park. I wish they kept Demon Drop at the front tho..
I'd say it's worth it but 3 hours is pushing it waiting for any ride. Just go during the week and you'll be fine. I went last Thursday and the wait was an hour and a half and definitely worth it! It's def the best roller coaster in the US right now! Maverick which is also at Cedar Point is my new favorite though.
So this was Mean Streak, huh? Well, while I have not rode it, I can say that this RMC conversion is a VAST improvement. This is an awesome layout. Looks so fast and smooth!
Wow I can't wait to ride it next year, have not been back to Cedar Point since I was 12 years old. I never got to ride mean streak, but I am going to make sure I ride Steel Vengeance. They still have the Blue Streak running, that was the first roller coaster I rode.
RB5630 you missed out. Mean Streak was a better ride than this one I can tell you that much. A REAL wooden coaster not this dangerous gimmick. The ride already CRASHED and broke a day after opening
Yeah mean streak was a great coaster, also you are 100% right about the dangerous elements that a wooden roller coaster offer. But Steel Vengeance is also a great roller coaster with the new twist that the RMC construction of combined wood and steel. So far as the accident which was nothing but a bump, and that was because someone had to release the inbound button instead of the out bound button. All is well and Steel Vengeance will be one great roller coaster, come on and give it a chance. Take care Branden
What are you talking about? The clicking sound comes from the anti-rollback mechanism, which is there to keep the train from sliding back down the lift hill in case the chain breaks.
Coaster Rider Media go to settings on your iPhone, type “camera” in the search bar, and click on the second result. It should take you to the camera settings. There should be a choice in the settings of how high quality you want to record at.
Hi there Ryan, I'm working on a ranking video for my channel, is there any way I could use your footage for it? I'll credit your channel in the description with a link to your channel as well as credit you in the video.
It depends, I still find El Toro more intense than SV and Toro absolutely has a better first drop in my opinion. But SV is extremely long and has a ridiculous amount of hills and airtime moments. So I guess it all depends what you’re into. Either way it’s spectacular!
El Toro is a great ride but Steel Vengeance is way more intense from start to finish. Especially the 2nd half. SV was to intense for my 2 teenagers. Lol!
Big Boy Roller Coaster Definitely not. Dollywood is my home park and I didn’t get to ride Lightning Rod opening year, that’s how bad it was. I don’t think anything is gonna break down that much ever again, lol
ElToroRyan ok cool. I just rode Torro yesterday. It really whips you over those hills. You were right about it being rougher with an empty car. I was the only one not complaining about an airtime/headbanging headake.
