Idk about 15 years. I’m a huge fan of Payton Wilson but he is already 24 and he is playing the one of if not the most physically demanding positions in the game. Let’s hope injuries don’t hold him back😅
@@TopGNoCapForRealForRealOng Unfortunately, I think injuries are too big of a concern for me to get too hyped about him. Of course that's the same thing that landed him in our laps so late as well. This kid is phenomenal when he is in the game. Even if he only plays half the games a year, I hope we hold onto him long term for that. Those games are gonna be so fun!
Bro reminds me of shazier when he was young, so fast over running things but always around the ball.. alittle over agressive but when he slows it down etc he’s gonna be so good. I have a feeling he’ll be damn good sometime THIS season😊
I love how he finishes the play even on that one play when he jumped inside and he didn’t make the play. He cut back to the other side and was prepared to finish. That is what we’ve been lacking at linebacker for a while now.
I’m glad we have him he will be a monster but on that Sweep he wasn’t the only 1 to recognize it and he was supposed to pick up RB 1 and Robinson RB 2 in case of the PlayAction
Really glad I have a stack of Payton Wilson sports cards from high school (Army Bowl) to college (NCSU) including some very limited issues. He is a future star but even if not, I remain a big fan.
Nice job, really excited about Wilson o the Steelers. Another third round steal at LB who will thrive just like Highsmith. Both are the type of day two additions a team needs to become a contender.
I haven’t seen anyone on our defense seemingly be in on every.single.play the way Wilson was Friday since we had Shazier. Payton Wilson will be LB1 sooner than later.
8:40 the linebackers are keying in on the QB turn direction. That back-handoff is really effective against trigger happy defenses.....like the Steelers. Live by the sword, die by the sword

If he stays healthy and sees enough snaps, WILSON is candidate for DROY. He won 2023 Butkus Award for best college linebacker, so this is no surprised.
I absolutely love this kid but he'll have to learn how not to get caught in the wash which happened more than I expected but for his first nfl competition I liked most of what I saw for sure
Herbig, Queen and Wilson is the future somebody is going to lose out this is what mark robinson should be doing with his athleticism but his field IQ needs to be improved 💯
