@frednsound I was planning to buy this one, but figured out to make a 3d printed mold first with the speaker dimensions to check if it would suit/fit with my (slim) A-pillar and I'm glad I did. The mid range became the problem... What would be a good alternative with the tweeter size being the same as in this set? Kind regards.
Hello my friend! Is there any possibility to run passive a 3 way set and having good staging? I know active is the way to go, but in case you can't go active is it ok to go 3 way passive or better to go 2 way active instead? Hi my friend:) well, it’s really depends on your needs, basically active will be more controllable which translates to a batter stage. 3-way always has better stage because of the additional midrange. Comparing 3-way passive to 2-way active, the 2-way active (when tuned properly) will sound more opened and small details will be more noticeable, compare to 3-way passive, you will have fuller stage and more impact, but you won’t get the precise details. so it’s up to your taste, I would go all the way quality 3-way active.. What is your opinion on this STEG kit? Do you think it's enough to leave it passive to have excellent sound quality? Do you think that by placing it in full active the difference in quality will be obvious? Is there a big difference between this kit and the MSS range from STEG?
Me65 or ml653 ? Both setup passive . I got sony gs80 for unit . Whats ur idea? I got an addzest a320 old school . I could bridge it and feed it . I listen all kind of music and i dont like Crisp or crystal sound and prefer natural warm soft sound with zero harshness of tweeter . I like vocal to hearing good .
